They know their stuff and are straightforward in the advice and recommendations they offer. We initially sought a front door restoration quote from Peter’s, but once we met Araceli and saw her demeanor and knowledge of the work, we asked her that same day to give us a quote on stripping/refinishing the wood trim throughout the common areas of our 3BR apartment, to include the baseboards, crown molding, multiple doorframes, and picture hanger trim. Detail-oriented and keen to coordinate on ultimate results (including the stain color for some hard-to-strip/match birch) and post-job follow-up, Peter’s crew showed up on time and ready to work for what became a 2-3 week job that was worth every penny considering the character and soul the restoration brought back to our once-bland, painted-over space. They also milled some trim to replace damaged and missing trim. Even though the trim in our house is not all the same kind of wood, they made sure the color of the stain matches throughout. They found matching replacements for some missing and broken hardware that was original to the house. We are really pleased with their attention to detail and their craftsmanship.
