We were planning a major renovation to our 1950's era home, including the addition of a new, large master bedroom with a walk-in closet. > > Greg came to the house while the project was in the finishing stage, discussed our desires and vision and took measurements. Not too long after, he sent us a design proposal and quote. He had our business. > > When we were ready, Greg came and installed the closet system and we were thrilled with the result! It was beautiful and not just functional, but cleverly efficient in maximizing storage in the space available. > > That would be more than enough to earn a 5 star review but let's take this a bit further. > > About 5 years after installation, a segment of the closet system collapsed due to a material flaw. I contacted Greg and, literally without hesitation, he offered to send his installer Mark to fix the problem. Greg found in his supply some new old stock pieces that matched our now-discontinued color and within days sent Mark to address the issue. Mark not only replaced the failed pieces with new ones, he came up with a reinforcement for ALL of the like-pieces on that side of the closet! > > The cost to me; ZERO! > > That would be more than enough to earn a 6 star review but wait...there's more! > > Two years later, SEVEN YEARS after the initial installation, a similar segment on the opposite side of the closet collapsed due to the same material flaw. A text and some pictures to Greg, and I had a commitment that Mark would be back out to perform the same repair and reinforcement. Greg apologized profusely for the inconvenience and for not just having Mark perform the reinforcement procedure on that side of the closet two years earlier, but I honestly didn't think it would be necessary back then. I called and spoke with Greg (the owner) and made an appointment for him to come to our house to show us what was available, take measurements, and then provide a quote. The quote was very fair so we placed an order with a promise that the system would be built and installed six weeks later. True to his word, the company installed the system on time and slightly less than the quote. The $8500. quote I received from Home Depot to get much less in terms of design was astronomical and out of the question. The materials that VC uses and the installation system was very high-quality and I can tell it will serve me and my husband‘s needs well for years to come.
