Green Elevations is an innovative landscape and green roof design and installation company based in Vancouver, British Columbia.   We started out initially installing green roofs and soon found that people wanted things to happen on the ground as well.  We branched out a bit lower and started creating beautiful spaces that people could really use.
 
Our primary focus is on landscapes that work with nature and not against it and are, at the same time, completely usable.  We specialize in challenging small space gardens giving them a sense of space and privacy.   We will work with you planning your space and finding solutions to difficult areas that may have been considered impossible to do anything with.

> Tania worked with us during the summer and fall of 2014 to develop a landscape plan for our post-construction lot in East Vancouver. Her incredibly hardworking crew managed to take a muddy, clay and stucco-filled empty lot and convert it into something that could be green and interesting.  The initial quote she provided was adhered too, and any changes made were always discussed with us before proceeding.  She encouraged our involvement in decisions about plants, stones, and trees and was incredibly knowledgeable about what plant would work well in each location.  The bluestone pathway she created for us is a work of art and it was obvious in her attention to placement that she is an artist as well as a designer.  She oversaw the design of the concrete pathway and we are complimented on it regularly by passersby. We were impressed with Tania’s attention to detail, focus on design and knowledge of plants and trees and understand why our Builders continue to choose her to complete their projects.

**Q: What is the tall grass?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the way you have lined it up. I presume you would need to cut those "blooms" off  before spring?

Many thanks.

A: We just put this along with Panicum "Northwind" into a beach themed landscape.  I love this grass!  I agree completely with leaving it until the spring before cutting it back.  It just looks so amazing in the winter.

A: Wow, I assumed the panels were aluminum.  Looks really great.
