The scope of the project involved making improvements to an existing residence. Specifically, we were unhappy with the existing driveway pavers and the too-steep-pitch of the driveway; the unfinished paths along the side of the house, and unfinished landscaping in the front and sides of the home. We also wanted to redesign the wall at the front of the house and install driveway gates. BLA worked quickly to create a plan for the entire project. Ms. Bell's experience, good taste, and extensive knowledge of the various elements of landscape architecture made the multitude of decisions easier to make. Ms. Bell has stayed in contact with us throughout the entire project. Phone calls and emails are returned the same day, if not within the hour from her BlackBerry. When either of us were out-of-town, she provided us with her cell phone number. Thanks A: The shelf is roughly 10' x 10' . **Q: What is the hardscape material for the seating areas?** *(in Photo Questions)* This is an absolutely gorgeous design. I am hoping to do something similar. Would love to know if the seating area hardscape is concrete poured in place at the time of the pool decking. Thank you! A: The paver area is made of poured in place concrete with tabby shells integrated into the mix. The pavers are 4' x 4' in size. **Q: Beautiful wall!
