We had to completely rebuild the inside of our four season cottage after a flood and really did not know where to start. Jen made a project that felt overwhelming, manageable and even enjoyable. She has an incredible depth of knowledge, a good working relationship with trades and suppliers and real attention to detail. She was often on site and provided regular reports which gave us confidence that the project was in good hands. She has a great eye for design and was able to translate our preferences into something that really resonated with us, but that we never would have been able to come up with on our own, including completely redesigning our kitchen and designing a day bed in a loft space that we weren't using previously. Jen also made tons of practical suggestions that translated in more useable and functional space that is a pleasure to live in, besides being gorgeous. Our project was finished on time without any major cost overruns and with only minimal adjustments to plans along the way. When we did have to make adjustments, Jen prepared really helpful elevation drawings that allowed us to visualize what the finished product would look like. She found us contractors and suppliers and did most of the running around and negotiating for us - presenting us with choices for all of the various components. We had previously managed a couple of renovation projects ourselves, so we had an idea of the work and running around involved. Jen just took care of it for us! Jen was quick to respond to my initial enquiry, and after visiting the basement she developed three different plan options for the basement. We chose a combination of two plans. Jen thought of design ideas that I never would have, which is one of the reasons I wanted to hire a designer. In addition to hiring Jen for the floor plans, I also paid her to choose fixtures and finishes for the new basement rooms: a bathroom, laundry room, gym, media room and office. Total project time was about 6 months and cost under $2K. Jen is very friendly, professional, does excellent work, was quick to make any changes we requested, and recommended good quality items and businesses. Is that a combo hand and stationary head? A: Hello, I believe the brand was Aquabrass and we purchased the parts separately, they didn't have a kit for this set. They do offer kits though it just depends what you are looking for. Just to note, most Rain Shower heads can be wall mounted or ceiling mounted you would just have to get a different shower arm. We constructed this out of quartz slab and heavy duty steel brackets.
