Thank you A: The colors on the house are as follows: white, a very grayish light blue, gray in the concrete steps and stepping blocks, and then in the front we have a few walls that are basically white with shells embedded in them to give them a slight grayish/brown tint (up close). We also get a few accent colors from the steel railings and the gray front door. The concept is to give the very complicated massing of the home a "washed out" look so it doesn't appear too busy and overwhelming. This also helps accentuate the foliage. Another cool thing about having such muted tones is that the shadows make the building come to life throughout the day...in other words, at different points of the day (and the year for that matter), the sun will pop out different portions of the building. Hope that helps - good luck! **Q: Colors** *(in Photo Questions)* Looks very nice. What are the wall and baseboard paint colors? A: All you have to do to match this look is go to your paint swatches from whichever paint manufacturer you prefer, and then go straight to pure white. Then go down one hue and use that for the wall color and use the pure white for the trim (baseboards) as well as the doors themselves. Notice how this home does NOT have crown molding…that is what makes it look so sleek. The wall color basically is white…or what some would consider an “eggshell” white which simply means it is off-white. As long as what you choose is one hue off of the white you choose it will allow you to achieve this aesthetic. The concept is that it pops out the trim but at the same time it is very subdued, subtle, and classy. Good luck on your project. **Q: Paint color on kitchen walls?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The owner dealt with the contractor directly with paint colors so I don't have any records of the exact color they used. What are the three colors; body, accent trim and gutters? Thanks! A: I don’t keep spec sheets on colors because every home I design gets special attention. What I will tell you is that everything should take its cue from the brownish color of the roof tile; that is the point of beginning. The next thing is that we chose the window frame color to match the brown in hue the best we could (doesn’t have to match perfectly…close is good enough). The same goes for garage doors and entry door. Then for the body (main color) you want a crisp white and the trim you still want white, but just off-white by a few notches (either in saturation or darkness). The concept with an Italianate design is that it is really meant to just be duotones: white and brown. Everything else plays off that. It is a very elegant palette and it really accentuates the foliage. Good luck! **Q: Floor plans** *(in Photo Questions)* What does the layout look like?
