She is a master at getting the most out of a small space, creating something both functional and beautiful. The garage became 2 good sized rooms (with some creative use of space in order to accommodate the difference in floor heights by including a platform bed). In the adjacent space, she then carved out a pantry and good sized cabinet with large drawers to compensate for my loss of storage in the garage, in addition to an ADA compliant bathroom for my mother. We are not sure if we want to use color enhancing sealant. We did a few samples of the enhancer and like it, but are afraid that we will lose the tumbled look or make it look too “dark”.
