## Community Q&A

**Q: POLL: Barn Doors - Yes or No?** *(in Polls)*

Barn doors seem to be all the rage. How do you feel about them? Do you love them or will you take a pass?

VOTE and tell us about it in the comments!

A: Good dry wood and adequate hardware are most important

**Q: I want this!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who can I find around Florida to build this, or can I get the plans!

A: CONVERTIBLE WingsLean-To articulate in, FlapEnds To fold-in, to lockin potential cozy enclosed structure or open as above for complete openness ... darwinIam

**Q: Past Decor Items You Love to Hate?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Any past decor items or trends that you love to hate? Especially things that you LOVED at the time, but now don't care for?

A: In the lumber biz, the 6/4" x 12" pinelumber market went crazy in the 70's and 80's because of all the waterbed-frame demand...slosh, slosh for real!! I still have a bed-frame, however no water bed for me.

**Q: This dining room is holding me hostage ...** *(in Design Dilemma)*

... I can't walk by this room without stopping to stare at it in hopes that a brilliant idea will finally dawn. We did some remodeling 3 years ago. The kitchen turned out great, but I'm in a quandary about how to finish the resulting new dining room (former living room).
It's a north-facing room that demanded a dramatic, colorful something to bring it to life: Cue the rug. I love the rug. It stays. The plantation shutters stay. The table is a family heirloom and must also stay. I'd like to keep hutch.
The old clock in corner and piano are just visitors in the room looking for a new home. They'll be evicted ASAP.
-- Need something for blank wall, but what? Large mirror?
-- And I'd also like to get different chairs that aren't so wide in the front so that we can squeeze more chairs around the table for holiday dinners.
--Also considering a drum shade chandelier.
Suggestions?

A: I just lost my close childhood friend+ in MT406....I didnot have enough liverlobe(s) to supplant hers of no consequence.....However, it is better 2 have tried ----than knot. Her 1 wish was for me to Organize my stuff....to value that which is/was. Difficult....sad

**Q: Where is this house and are there any other photos taken from the outside?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Looks like 6 x 16 beam, either LVL or solid sawn Doug Fir w/ 1/4 circle layout with 3 x 12 decking atop....Wood is g00d. Reminds me of Helena MT Library and colossus timbers.
