Until then, steel was difficult to procure and use in the field, so residential builders used it only occasionally. Suburban Steel Supply set out to change all that. We emerged as an honest, hardworking company focused on delivering outstanding customer service. It didn’t take long for customers to notice. Since those early days of the company, we’ve expanded beyond the residential market, and now we supply structural steel to commercial projects as well. Our field service crews provide onsite erection and crane services. And our product offerings have expanded to include rebar and concrete accessories, and fabrication and erection services for ornamental/miscellaneous metals. In 2005, after several relocations to accommodate our growth, Suburban Steel Supply landed at our present, 21-acre facility in Gahanna, Ohio.
