Her creative problem-solving saved the day whenever unexpected challenges came up in the renovation process. Our home is so cozy and beautiful, we loved every minute of working with her and couldn't be happier with our forever home. **★★★★★ — HU-205363883, Nov. 2021** > Our highest recommendations for Raychel and her design team. Our Construction firm has worked with Raychel on some demanding projects and the results are nothing short of top shelf. **★★★★★ — Kristen Forster, Aug. 2021** > My husband and I could not say more positive things about our experience working with Raychel. We had never worked with a designer before, and Raychel made the process as simple and efficient as possible. From day 1, she really understood what we were after, and executed on our vision tremendously. Not only are we thrilled with how our house turned out, but we were thrilled with the process along the way. Raychel was highly communicative, responsive and flexible to meet our needs. We never once felt an ounce of pressure, and we were able to be completely honest with each other throughout the process. We would absolutely recommend Raychel to anyone looking for an awesome designer! **★★★★★ — Ann Brady, Jan. 2021** > I've worked with Raychel on multiple projects both big and small. I can't imagine working with anyone else. I trust her enough for when I want to be completely hands-off, but I also love collaborating hand-in-hand with her. She's up for a challenge and has impeccable taste. **★★★★★ — k d, Jan. 2021** > Raychel made what could have been a very overwhelming project (full gut renovation of our new home which is almost 100 years old on Long Island)— VERY fun! We loved working with Raychel b/c she made it so easy for us! She inherently knows when to include her clients (city trips to check out lighting options & sit on potential new furniture!) and when to work things out herself on your behalf. She works so hard to create the vision that you will fall head over heels in love with. We would work with her again in a heartbeat. I can not recommend her more highly. **★★★★★ — Alex Kuffel, Jan. 2021** > I hired Raychel Wade Design after I started working with another designer who wasn’t able to create anything I was happy with. I provided Raychel with my wish list and not only was she able to achieve everything I wanted, she made the entire process extremely exciting and enjoyable!! Never could I have envisioned that she would be able to completely transform my moderate house into my dream home!!! I have been in real estate for over 25 years and I can’t say enough about Raychel’s astonishing talent, professionalism and creativity! Working with Raychel and her company has been a true delight and I strongly recommend them. **★★★★★ — Brooke Temner, March 2018** > I can’t say enough wonderful things about Wade Design. Before hiring her we were lost! She understood our needs and delivered a beautiful home with grace and integrity (and a lot of laughs). She is an expert in design and has has beautiful taste. Her connections and sources with vendors and showrooms allowed us see items we would have never found on our own. And textiles! She is the master of finding and mixing color and pattern so that it looks natural and homey and not overly done or matchy matchy. It all came together seamlessly. I feel like our house is now a home, and exactly what we envisioned. Hire her! **★★★★★ — dasinfish, Aug. 2017** > I honestly can't say enough good things about Raychel. When I saw her pics on Houzz, I knew she was the designer I wanted. I knew how I wanted my house to look and feel, but I had no idea how to make that happen. Raychel's rooms all share a unique style that are both comfortable and livable without feeling too ‘decorated’ which was important to our growing family. From the very first meeting all the way through until the installation of our design we were impressed. She went above and beyond and made the whole process easy for us, which is what I needed as a working mom with young kids. Raychel took the time to get to know us, listen to our needs and wants and then took that and designed our home with our family in mind. It didn't feel cookie cutter at all, which is what we were looking for. Now that we are done I kind of wish we could buy another home just to use her again! **★★★★★ — Pamela Henzi, Aug. 2017** > I had never worked with an interior decorator before but knew I needed help when we bought our first apartment. I was tired of living among cookie cutter furniture. > I was immediately drawn to the warmth and textures in Raychel's work. From our very first meeting to the end of the project, Raychel was collaborative, creative and fast. While she was always receptive to my crinkled magazine inspiration tear-outs, she would preceded to show me things blew my initial ideas out of the water! > She truly helped make our apartment a place that I am proud and excited to come home to every day. **★★★★★ — User, Sept. 2016** > We had the pleasure of working with Raychel on a project in Tribeca. > Her talent, knowledge and efficiency make working with her effortless > We had some technical challenges in this project and Raychel made sure everyone was on the same page and the result was perfect. > We highly recommend Raychel to anyone looking for a sophisticated, and intelligent design! **★★★★★ — Regan Wood Photography, Sept. 2016** > I've had the pleasure of working with Raychel Wade a few times photographing her beautiful projects. Our shoots together have been wonderful as Raychel is as fun and creative as she is professional. I look forward to photographing more of her work soon! **★★★★★ — wendyb59, Aug. 2016** > Raychel is smart, savvy, fashionable, and has great taste. She is incredibly easy to talk to and she hears you. She is always on the lookout for interesting and different items and brings in pieces from all over the the globe. I am glad that I found her to bring a fresh perspective to all of my decorating needs. ## Selected projects - [St. Louis tudor](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/st-louis-tudor-pj-vj~7969239) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Silo Ridge Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/silo-ridge-home-pj-vj~7969208) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - [Armonk Estate](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/armonk-estate-pj-vj~7969159) - Location: Armonk, NY - Photos: 7 - [Brooklyn Historic Brownstone](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/brooklyn-historic-brownstone-pj-vj~7969130) - Location: Brooklyn Heights, NY - Photos: 10 - [Larchmont Bungalow](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/larchmont-bungalow-pj-vj~7969147) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 11 - [Manhattan Living Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/manhattan-living-room-pj-vj~6445106) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - [Before and After](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/before-and-after-pj-vj~5854186) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 22 [See all 7 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/interior-designers-and-decorators/raychel-wade-design-pfvwus-pf~1511287550) ## Community Q&A **Q: chairs are beautiful** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you please share the source of the chairs?
