A: We put it together with individual plumbing parts, purchased surf board and block wall to mount it on. **Q: Hi- is that wood beam more than one piece? I see a seam in the middle** *(in Photo Questions)* We want to have beams in our living space but need 18' wood but can only find 16' beams. just wondering how the seam will look if we use two beams with the seam in the middle. A: Yes you are seeing a seam, this is because we installed 1/2" oak plywood on top of the existing structural beam that wasn't attractive. Many different species of wood are available in a plywood format. They also make straps that cover seams at connections that give it a more rustic look. We wanted the beam to look as close to the oak floor as possible and stained it to match. You can clad the beams with regular 2X material also and it will have more grain options. The plywood is very affordable and looks authentic. .. Thanks for asking... A: Thanks for asking, we make the floating shelves ourselves. These were made out of maple and then stained to match as close as we could to the window blinds. Did someone need to find a tile that came in all those different colors and then figure out what color tile should go where? I would love to understand how this was created. It is beautiful! A: Thank you for your interest. The tile on the wall is a mosaic that you can purchase in sheets. There were 4 sheets in this particular design. So the sheets were pretty large. It makes it a lot easier to install this way. Since it has been almost 10 years since we did this one, I can't remember the details on where we purchased it.. Sorry..
