Pierce Carpet Mill Outlet in Butte, Montana was selected to be the next location by Pierce as a new flooring outlet location. We remodeled and moved into a former grocery store located on Dewey Street in the summer of 1994. We have a terrific staff servicing the Butte market with some of the best savings found in the industry.

The Carpet Mill Outlet is located 4 miles west of Bozeman on the road to 4 Corners. Pierce acquired it in 1996 and changed the name to Pierce Carpet Mill Outlet. This store serves as the counterpart to the Carpet Barn in Billings and the Pierce Carpet Mill Outlet in Butte selling discounted and promotional inventories in all flooring segments. **Q: Flooring what to choose carpet or vinyl** *(in Polls)*

Ok we have a vacation place and kitchen living room
And bathrooms are all tiled.  The master bedroom has laminate which I don’t like the color and the bedroom and den are carpet with colors I don’t like.  I found a vinyl I like but not sure if I should just put down a new carpet. If I do the 2 bedrooms then the master would be different.  I’m showing  what is there and the sample of the vinyl

A: Both are great options. It's really what you feel meets your needs the best. Carpet is a little "cozier" but you could always do the Vinyl and the a nice area rug to complete the space. I'm with Vesta, in that sand, mud and snow would be easier to clean with vinyl. However, there are some great carpets out there can can stand up to these elements and look beautiful for years to come!

**Q: Can yellow with blue trim work on our house?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We've taken off the 1950's metal siding. The nice Scottish siding man comes next week to begin repairing and renovating the original 1925 wood siding. Then we paint. But what color?
We have no affinity for the earth tones that California bungalows frequently get. We like color and want something that lifts the house off the ground. No browns, no reds. We'd love yellow with blue trim - colorful and happy, and goes with pink. purple and white flowers, which will eventually be growing. Photos of three sides of the house below, plus the yellow / blue combination that we love. We considered light blue with white trim, though we really favor the yellow.
Neighbors on our side of the street are beige, light gray, light green. Across the street are light green, pale yellow with plum steps and front path, brown with bright orange and green accents (!), and an ice white.
The landscaping will eventually include an arbor with climbing roses and jasmine leading to a paver path to the front door. We'll put something that flowers and that bees and butterflies like in front of the house (lavendar?), and the front lawn will be wrapped with a fence of some sort with flowering vines / something green. The white gate will go and be replaced with a nice wood door with 3/4 glass. The small landing by the front door will be extended 3 feet, just past where the two potted fruit trees are right now, as will the overhang. We'll build a little front porch there by extending the sides of the house along the sides of the extended landing, with columns to hold the overhang. Will likely grow some kind of flowering vine up those columns.

A: Yellow and Blue looks nice together. Many schools use yellow and blue as their colors for a reason. Personally, I like the blue house with a bright yellow trim or yellow house with blue trim in more of a pastel palette.
