> We really love the stain colour used in the kitchen you have for “Kitchen\>Modern New Construction in Providence, RI” and would like to do something of this nature if you don’t mind sharing the stain combination. Your designs are top-notch and something like this in Canada would definitely have us remembering you

> My husband and I bought an 1880's farmhouse that needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. After meeting with several builders, we chose Suburban Renewal as our contractors, and it was the best decision we could have ever made. From the inception of the project, to it's completion nearly a year later, there were literally hundreds of decisions to be made. From the company owner, Jeremy, to the project manager Nick, to the job superintendent, Mike, the consistency of the professionalism, communication, responsiveness and guidance from the Suburban Renewal team was outstanding. There was not a single, "ball drop" moment while working with Suburban Renewal. There was never a time when we felt that our project, and our satisfaction with how it was being managed, was not the number one priority of the company. The final product is truly our dream home. When our town's building inspector came to inspect the house for the last time and issue our certificate of occupancy, he remarked that in his many decades as an inspector, he had never seen a home so well built. I cannot imagine a better experience building a home than the one we had with Suburban Renewal.

> Jeremy and his crew were a joy to work with and knowledgeable on all aspects of our build. Their craftsmanship, and that of their subs, was outstanding!! Cost cutting measures - when feasible - were initiated by Jeremy - this was truly appreciated. The build was complex yet we found Jeremy and team were up to the task and exceeded our expectations of client engagement and quality of the job. We are more then pleased with the final product.

> Suburban Renewal recently completed an extensive addition/renovation to our home and without hesitation, I give them five stars. From the beginning, through the final details at the very end, Jeremy, Kristen, Roger and the team were professional, respectful, transparent and punctual. The quality of work is outstanding and we are thrilled with the finished product. Our foreman, Roger, and his crew were so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, never hesitating to ask a question or offer an opinion when needed. We lived onsite during the project and they treated our makeshift living space with care and were always mindful of us and our two small children. Any hiccups we had along the way were attended to immediately, on or off the clock. The entire nine month process was rather seamless and we absolutely plan on using Suburban Renewal for future projects.

> Jeremy was very helpful in the planning process and very knowledgable in the building process. When we first met him he said his strength was solving problems and we were able to witness that first hand during the complete renovation of our waterfront home. Jeremy, Kristen and everyone on his crew were a pleasure to deal with. We will be calling them again for our next project! We highly recommend them.

> As an architect in Colorado designing his personal residence, the selection of a contractor was paramount. In addition, living in the southwest but having a summer residence on the east coast was problematic. We were changing the house from a 600 sf summer residence to a 2200sf year-around residence. My relationship with Suburban Renewal, and Jeremy Sherer in particular, was wonderful. Jeremy was an active participant in the design - assisting with advice on materials for a seaside environment, suggesting modifications of details, selecting dependable subcontractors - and we are delighted with his efforts and the final results. His superintendent, Mike, was knowledgeable, excellent and responsive.
>
> We were very fortunate to get Suburban Renewal to work on this relatively small project. We intend for this house to remain in the family for our grandchildren, so longevity of finishes, ease of maintenance, energy conservation and design compatibility for a seaside community were all important to us. Jeremy personally assisted in all of these areas. We could not be more pleased with his knowledge, communication, personality, honesty and enthusiasm. Periodically I was sent photos of construction in process reducing the need to fly out to the site on a periodic basis. We reviewed budget and discussed decisions by phone. It was a very effective process.
>
> Budget was a concern as it is in almost all construction projects. While we spent more than originally estimated, much of it was due to client decisions on materials and design. There is no question that the value is there and that any increase in cost was well documented.
>
> I would highly recommend Suburban Renewal/Jeremy Sherer to any client or architect/designer who is seeking a quality contractor who will assist you with integrity and who takes great pride in his company's work.

> We hired Suburban Renewal to renovate the entire 1st floor of our 1929 Eastside of Providence home. We took a traditional colonial home and modernized it by tearing down interior (some brick) walls! Even though we spent many months planning the project, we still made a lot of changes along a the way. Jeremy and crew were always willing to accommodate those changes and offer suggestions.
>
> Our project consisted of a new kitchen, walnut wet bar, bathroom , mudroom, dining room, butlers pantry and den. We also added an outdoor deck for our grill, along with other outside mason work.
>
> Our Foreman Roger was creative, patient, and always willing to draw out my thoughts, literally, he would draw on my walls! All of SR carpenters onsite were professional, experienced, and competent.
>
> Also, when you hire a contractor, you are also hiring their subs, they are in your house daily. We were very pleased with the quality of sub contractors Suburban hires. They were all very professional, clean and respectful.
>
> The quality of craftsmanship and attention to details resulted in a spectacular end result.
> We are thrilled with our newly renovated home.

**★★★★★ — Benjamin Scungio, Nov. 2015**

> Jeremy and his team are true professionals! They completed one of the most detailed oriented historical renovations in the city of Providence for Lila Delman Real Estate. The workmanship was top notch which shows every time you walk through the door of 369 South Main Street!

**★★★★★ — jtownbeachhouse, Nov. 2015**

> Jeremy did a partial tear down and an addition/renovation of our RI beach house. There were some challenges such as a small lot and Jeremy handled them well. We are very pleased with the results and feel that the construction is superb.
> Jeremy is an excellent builder and he guarantees his work. A member of our family who is an architect designed the renovation/addition and Jeremy was able to provide the cottage feel that we were looking for. We found him to be amenable, highly knowledgeable about materials, and able to deal with issues such as trim and staircases with minimal input. Architectural amenities such as roof trusses, wood flooring, walls with accented siding, and raised bead board ceilings all turned out wonderfully! I highly recommend Jeremy's work. He is one of a kind!

**★★★★★ — ginginia, Sept. 2015**

> Suburban Renewal renovated our lower level suite which included a bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room. Every surface and finish was involved. Jeremy Sherer was very detail oriented and that showed in all of the various trades and people he employed. Roger, foreman and lead carpenter, was wonderful to work with. He was respectful, thoughtful, creative and delivered a great end product. We could't be happier with the results and would highly recommend them. We were so pleased we signed them up to build a sunroom addition - another happy ending! Thank you to all for such a warm, comfortable and beautiful space. Ginger and Larry

**★★★★★ — tesserlily, Feb. 2015**

> I recently purchased a 115 year old house in need of major renovation. I interviewed many contractors and found Jeremy Sherer (owner of Suburban Renewal) to be the easiest to talk with and the most receptive to my ideas. His company has done many renovations on the east side of Providence and I had seen some of his work. I have an EXTREMELY critical eye about details and his results measured up with what I wanted in a contractor. Suburban Renewal moved my kitchen from one room to another. We had multiple surprises along the way, like unexpected ducts in the middle of walls and cabinets that came in at the wrong size (nothing to do with suburban renewal) and sagging floors that made the island potentially an inch or two shorter than the the other cabinetry. All of these problems were managed in a creative and artful way. The most unexpected surprise was that when the paint was sanded off the main staircase treads it turned out that the treads were actually poplar. Not a nice wood to match the rest of the house (which was oak with mahogany inlay). Although this was not part of our original agreement, Suburban renewal and their master carpenter Roger created an incredibly beautiful staircase that was much superior to the original, yet it looked like it was the original. There is nothing like a beautiful staircase to make a statement about your house. Roger from Suburban Renewal created a true piece of craftsmanship and art that I will be able to enjoy everyday.
>
> Overall, I was able to stay very close to the estimate provided by Suburban Renewal. I am extremely pleased with the final product. I would DEFINITELY use them again. How many times have you been able to say that about a contractor??? Thank you to Jeremy and Roger and all the other people at Suburban renewal who helped return my house to its original glory.

**★★★★★ — Beth Dwyer, Nov. 2014**

> We just completed an extensive remodel of what was an Acorn house and is now a New England style beach home with Suburban Renewal. The work they did was amazing. They were very knowledgable from wood types to heating systems to finish trim and design. They gave us an incredible amount of support and guidance to be assured we were making all the best decisions. Whenever there was an interpretation needed to the plans their solution far exceeded our expectations and no short cuts were ever taken. The team was incredibly professional and a delight to work with during our custom build. We wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend them to anyone.

**Q: Laminate Floor installation** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’m planning to replace my carpet and I would like to know the least expensive laminate wood floor. I’m interested in the color you show in the photo or something a shade lighter in color. I also need something that is water proof.
