Amalia was fantastic to work with, I sent her some ideas around my aesthetic and she provided several options around my budget range. She was upfront about the material costs and eased the stress of the process by working closely with my contractor to ensure everything was moving along at a good pace. I was completely in love with the end result! **Comment from Amalia Gal Interior Design:** > Thank you so much Reva. It was great working with you too! Let's do it again sometime :) **★★★★★ — J C Upholstery Inc., July 2019** > Amalia's work is impeccable and of the highest quality. She is incredibly professional, prompt and precise and we have always been far beyond satisfied with her services. Everything she creates looks absolutely stunning. If you want to be in awe of what she does with your idea please choose Amalia Gal Interior Design for your project. **★★★★★ — HU-570700498, July 2019** > It was a pleasure working with Amalia. I’ve worked with her as a painting contractor for her projects. She’s very professional and very easy to work with and communicating with her was a breeze as she would always keep me updated with any changes during the course of a project. I would definitely recommend her and I also look forward to continue working with her. **★★★★★ — john choi, Feb. 2019** > I have worked with Amalia on several projects and can say that she has a great eye. She coordinates well between the owner and contractor. I am a general contractor and work on the sub side, so I know when I come across a good designer/project manager. Amalia is great, and that's why I continue to work with her. **★★★★★ — Janik Roskovani, Jan. 2019** > I have been working with Ms. Gal for a number of years as a builder. She has a unique ability to create a wonderful work atmosphere while creatively guiding each client in a very caring way. Her ideas are innovative and unique. I have recommended her to many of my clients due to her know how and terrific follow through. **★★★★★ — Nania Pullee, Jan. 2019** > We loved working with Amalia and her team on our remodel project. She helped us choose color schemes, cabinetry, lighting, flooring, plumbing fixtures, and furniture. She listened to our needs and also brought her own original ideas to the table. > Every step in the project from design to final walkthrough was stress-free and enjoyable. The end result was a beautiful and functional home that we receive compliments on daily. **★★★★★ — Ross Fancher, Jan. 2019** > Amalia Gal Interior Design did an amazing job on my condo renovation from start to finish. Amalia has vast knowledge and experience on interior design styles and trends. She also has great taste and I literally liked everything she picked out for me. So many beautiful materials to choose from. Those were the triggers that made me hire her, plus she’s fun to work with and she has a sense of creativity and great space planning skills. > > I knew that when I hired Amalia Gal Interior Design that it would make the remodel process go much easier than if I were to attempt the project on my own. I don’t have the time or motivation to pick out materials/finishes on my own. I know what I like, but it’s hard to start somewhere and Amalia knows the remodel process well and how to start and when to pick out materials and finishes. Plus, the coordination of ordering materials is something I could have not handled on my own. She was also available to advise the contractors and crew on any design changes and that were needed due to unforeseen circumstances with the project. This is something I knew Amalia would be able to handle because I know she wants it to look near perfect as much as I do. > > I would absolutely recommend Amalia Gal Interior Design. I could have not done this project without her expertise and connections. **★★★★★ — Marisa Arpels, Dec. 2018** > Amalia is a patient designer with an amazing eye for color. > > Amalia helped us renovate a master bedroom, bathroom, kids room, and guest bedroom. For each room she gave us a bunch of options for wall coverings and furniture at different price ranges. She has a particularly amazing eye for color helping brighten our dull walls with the perfect shades of paint. She found the a beautiful wallpaper for our daughters room and very cool bathroom tiles. She gave us time to make decisions and followed up with us weekly on Fridays to check in. WhAt I really appreciated also was Amalia did not push an agenda for her design but listened to us, got to know our aesthetic and gave us choices in our price range. She also was very helpful to resolve issues we had with a contractor. > > In sum Amalia has a great eye, is a good listener, is flexible and client oriented. We would use her in a heart beat again. **★★★★★ — Ethan Grumbach, Dec. 2018** > We interviewed several interior designers and had no hesitation deciding to work with Amalia Gal Interior Design because we felt respected. She also understood our intentions in renovating our home and incorporating the original Spanish Colonial style in the improvements. > > We had seen examples of Amalia’s work before we initially contacted her. Our impression upon meeting with her supported our sense that she would be effective in helping us reach our goal. > > Amalia and her team brought enthusiasm and encouragement to our project and went out of their way to bring subtle details and specifics to life in a way that greatly enhanced the project. We enjoyed the ongoing conversations and refining of our ideas to come to a cohesive and coordinated implementation of un-imagined options. **★★★★★ — Tom Balamaci, June 2016** > Amalia did an outstanding job on our home. She brought brilliant ideas to the table that we never would've thought of and that incorporated our broad strokes "likes" into very specific and beautiful solutions. She is a master with color. She is a pleasure to work with, fairly balancing the execution of a coherent vision with the practical constraints of time and money. We'll hire Amalia back for our kitchen and guest bath projects and highly recommend her! ## Selected projects - [Bright Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bright-kitchen-pj-vj~6189757) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Transitional Kitchen Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/transitional-kitchen-remodel-pj-vj~6141407) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 6 - [Laundry Heaven](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/laundry-heaven-pj-vj~6141409) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [Tranquility](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/tranquility-pj-vj~5880568) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 1 - [Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bathroom-pj-vj~6141412) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Charming Condo](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/charming-condo-pj-vj~1799517) - Location: West Hollywood, CA - Photos: 5 - [Modern Farmhouse Bathroom Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-farmhouse-bathroom-remodel-pj-vj~5279722) - Location: Santa Monica, CA - Photos: 2 - Description: Amalia Gal Interior Design is proud to announce our latest project that has been published in the Los Angeles Times. A: Thank you. It was from Restoration Hardware. **Q: Paint color on cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)* What paint color and finish did you use on the vanity cabinet? Thank you. A: Hello Suzanne. The vanity is from Kohler. It comes in two colors; I selected the dove grey. **Q: Vanity source** *(in Photo Questions)* Amalia, although we're on the east coast I'd love to know where you got the vanity from as our bathroom has the same layout and I liked the vanity you selected for this beautiful bathroom. Thank you ! A: @restonzz The vanity and plumbing fixtures were from Kohler. I'm sure you have access to that brand on the east coast. Good quality for the price. Thanks for your comment. **Q: Are these shelves custom?** *(in Photo Questions)* What a beautiful bathroom! I find it so hard to get really nice wood shelving. Are these custom or did you source them elsewhere? Thx! A: @Christina Martin Thank you for your nice comments. Yes, the shelves were custom. I specified the dimensions and the stain color, and the contractor sourced the wood and installed. **Q: faucet name please? just gorgeous!** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you please share the name of your faucet? Thank you A: Thanks so much for the compliment. I'm sorry, but I don't have the product information on file any longer. **Q: where is king bed from** *(in Photo Questions)* Please tell me where bed is from A: Thanks for your inquiry.
