Our house required a complete tear down because the old layout made no sense. We worked with Mark and his team to design and update our house and are glad we did. Another contractor insisted on drawing out a complete plan and sticking to it no matter what and charging us for any changes. Synergy was more open minded and provided us with an outline but acknowledged that due to the fact no one knows what is inside the walls, there may be adjustments. > > This wound up being the best approach as we were able to get cabinets to the ceiling, a much bigger custom window over the sink, and a bespoke kitchen island with seating, which were not options in a more rigid design. We were also able to enclose the blower over the stove to make for a streamlined look. > > > Another benefit is that the team you meet are the same people who are doing the work. There is no subcontracting. The team does the plumbing, tiling, electrical, painting, and demolition themselves. The same people who worked with us on layout and design were the same ones doing the work, and they did great work.
