Recently we ordered a dishwasher right before Christmas. Their delivery/set-up guys did a great job installing the new unit correctly. Afterward we noticed slight scratches on the front stainless steel door. Their service department was very responsive. Jen got right back to me and requested a photo and said they would send out there technician to fix it. The new panel arrived within a few days and now my dishwasher is 100%. My wife and I continue to have good experiences with Barry's and we'll continue to use them and recommend to others. I can't say enough about how professional they are. > > I ordered a complete High End Appliance Suite totally almost $45,000. > I ordered all these Sub Zero Product in February 2021 > I was told the appliances would be delivered on 5/18, Barry's NEVER told me there were any delays. I found out after finally calling late May to find out when they would be delivered and was told that they are not there. > My current appliances were all sub zero and Wolf and in working order. I would have just rescheduled my kitchen renovation if someone would have just communicated with me. > > Barry's caused me to personally pay over $1500 to contractors and subcontractors cancelation rates and fees due to Barry's lack of commuication and adherance to promised delivery dates. While the manager did provide a gesture of having my refridgerator and freezer installed. He offered no other form of compensation. I feel this was not fair nor good customer service. > > When finally my units were delivered the delivered on September 1, 2021. The barrys delivery men did not have any supplies, massonite board, tape or anything to protect my new hardwood floors. I begged Ryan the manager for help and his response was they are not going to ruin my floors. I spoke to the the Delivery" Boss" via Face time and showed him the cardboard and again I was told it was ok "they deliver all the time". I insisted that they use the RAM Board I paid for. I was so desperate that I called Barry's and asked Julie for help. She said to use my RAM Board and Barry's would reimburse me. > > The barry's then started the 3 hour install process during the week at 5:30pm. Note: They completed the install on September 23rd (Note-I had no refridgerator from May-September) > > When I removed the cardboard, there was a 10 inch scratch against the grain on my new hardwood floors. > I provided photos immediately to Ryan the Manager. A few days latter he asked for additional edidence in the form of a video, which I also provided. > > After numerous messages left for Ryan to resolve, I specifically asked for Barry's insurance information to submit a claim. Ryan refussed. I tried to ask again and he told me to go through my own insurance and "we should not be talking about this". He hung up on me. > > On the 23, I was told that my XO beverage cooler would be delivered. I confirmed this with my sales person after Barry's canceled delivery the week prior (set up with Chris). After visiting a few other retailers, we chose Barry's. We replaced all appliances (range hood, refrigerator, range, dish washer, microwave) and the selection at Barry's was extensive, including high end appliances which is what wanted. One of the primary reasons we chose Barry's was the Appliance Consultant, Chris Chatzopoulos. He was very knowledgeable, professional and a great communicator and gained out trust from our day one. He made the selection process easy. Held product until the renovation was completed and then arranged onetime delivery seamlessly.
