He is responsive, well-priced, and a master carpenter with access to a first class team. He may also be telepathic, or just have really good taste - not sure which. After interviewing several deck builders, some of whom were very difficult to schedule a visit with, dealing with Bob was like a breath of fresh air. He patiently listened to all of my requests and concerns and sat down and drew a sketch of what I wanted. He then quoted all options as line items within two days. When I came back to him a year later, he didn't write me off, but requoted a modified version and put it in a deck extension with additional trellises, a bar, and 2 gates in a total of three days. I didn't need to micromanage him - everything turned out as I imagined if not better. I needed some small adjustments, which he was able to fit into his schedule at little notice and for which he charged only a site visit fee.
