The work took about a year - slightly longer than the initial estimate but understandable given pandemic-related supply chain issues and a few unexpected construction issues. We had about a dozen change orders from the original plan, some due to our own choices and requests and some due to issues discovered during construction; the options and costs for these change orders were always clearly communicated in writing.
