## About

### Houzz Badges

- 1,000 Ideabook Saves

We started as a flooring company. But over the years, our customers liked our work so much that they started asking us to do more and more projects. We realized that we wanted to become certified to handle every kind of remodeling challenge, and that’s exactly what we did.

Today, we have a Class A builders license. We focus primarily on remodeling work, as contractors in Williamsburg VA. But we can do anything your home needs, from simply fixing a door handle, to installing custom closets, all the way to building a house from the ground up. We have always done custom work, and we pride ourselves on meeting the unique requirements of each home we work on.

Cunningham Contracting is family-owned and operated. When you call us, you speak directly to a Cunningham.

**★★★★★ — Judy Mc Dede, April 2017**

> The staff handled themselves In a professional way. They answered my questions and put together a perfect mancave for my husband at a time when my husband was undergoing treatment for cancer. They were very understanding and finished within a good time frame. The quality of their work was very good. They were responsive to our questions.

**★★★★★ — Rob Rubenstein, April 2017**

> We have used Cunningham for several projects (large and small) over the past 10 years. They have consistently performed at the highest level. The work is done carefully. The workplace is always kept clean and the end result is always something we can be proud of. The latest job was basically a bathroom remodel (as a result of a leak). About a year earlier, our kitchen and great room needed to be redone because of a burst water heater in our attic. This was easily a $40,000 job. Steve responded immediately after the flood from the water heater and guided the whole process to getting us back to being functional. He worked with our insurance adjuster and made sure that everything was completed properly with top notch materials. We would trust Steve and his crew to do anything needed at the house and highly recommend him. It would be hard to find a more qualified, honest individual or company to deal with.

**★★★★★ — Richard Rosania, April 2017**

> Steve Cunningham and his entire team were terrific. They spent a considerable amount of time with us explaining the best options for what we wanted done. They answered all our questions and kept us appraised as to scheduling. When work was underway, their crews were prompt, informative and neat.
>
> We did have a problem with the carpet we purchased through a company they recommended, Steve worked with the vendor to remove the old carpet and replace/reinstall a new carpet at no cost to us.
>
> We are very pleased with their work and workmanship and have recommended them to friends.
