GBC was the general contractor on the job. They played and integral role in design, build and even picking finishes. This was not just putting lipstick on an older home, this was a complete structural change that required moving load bearing walls and moving exterior walls that required a complete engineering and mechanical review. The team at GBC lead by Geno and Carl brought the best experts to the table to complete the job. From mechanical contractors, framing and engineering expertise, plumbing, electrical and we even had an entire home automation design. Their attention to detail delayed the occupancy of our new condo. They used the wrong paint (eggshell instead of flat), and had to repaint the entire condo. Additionally, in the study they used the wrong color as well. The laundry room floor grout was not the same color which they said needed 3 weeks to cure and it would be fine. They had to come back and paint the grout to get it matching. Again, causing delays which were unavoidable. The electrician they used also made errors. Dimmers not correctly installed, overhead can lights added but not aligned properly. He returned multiple times. The plumber didn't install the toilet seats correctly. He had to return as well. GBC ordered the wrong insert for the gas fireplace.
