Eric A Chase Architecture is a five person architectural firm located in South Brooksville on the southern tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula in the state of Maine. Established in Branford, Connecticut in 1980, the office moved to Maine in 1998. Though much of our work is custom residential design, our project list includes a breadth of building types including, civic, religious, multi-family, educational, commercial, and historic restoration.
We are registered with the American Institute of Architecture and NCARB.

A: Thanks for your interest in our projects. It's a Pottery Barn table and the chairs are from www.shakerworkshops.com. They were purchased about 14 years ago, but our client is still enjoying them very much.

Can you tell me what the countertop material is?  Almost looks like a soapstone?

A: No, it actually is Costa Smerelda granite.

A: The shingles are Western Red Cedar. No stain or other finish.

These look like aggregate tiles.  May I ask, are they custom or can they be purchased?  Thanks so much for your time and for sharing.

A: The tiles shown are Freshwater Pearl 12"x12" granite floor tile. They are locally quarried and cut by Freshwater Stone in Orland, Maine. Freshwater Stone can be contacted at (207) 469-6331. Thank you for your interest!
