Hello! I'm interested in purchasing this light for my kitchen! I'm replacing a hanging pendant & would like for the new one to hang from the ceiling in the same position so that it is connected to preexisting wires! Is this possible?? A: Hi Acgallet! Yes, that is no problem at all. When we create your piece, we'll make it so that it can easily be attached to directly to the existing wires. If you wish, we can also create it so that the piece hangs at the exact same spot as your previous pendant. Thanks Acgallet for the question! Can the chandelier connect to the wires in the ceiling?

A: Hi Acgallet! Thanks for your question! Yes, they can easily be wired into the ceiling vs. used with the long rope cord/outlet plug. Since we create each piece to order, we're more than happy to create your piece for easy ceiling installation. Thanks again!

How do you make sure it's not flammable?

A: Hi Mimi! Thank you so much for asking! We take great precaution in insuring that it's fire resistant. We have a proprietary enamel that we coat the tumbleweed in after sculpting that is fire resistant up to 2,500 degrees. This makes the tumbleweed portion more fire resistant than most lights you can purchase anywhere on the market. Safety is very important to us! Please let me know if I can be of any more help, Mimi! **Q: Concerning your Prairie Tumbleweed light** *(in Product Questions)*

Are you guys from a place that has tumbleweeds? Do you have the BEST liability insurance on the planet? I sell tumbleweeds and I say good for you guys but Dang guys I make sure no idiot I sell to gets these things any where near a light especially around Christmas. Tumbleweeds are the most flammable things on the planet, Even if you have put a non flammable on tumbleweeds is the right conditions they will catch fire. I hope the money you sell these for you have great insurance. I would be so scared to sell these to a family. Are any of you from a state that has tumbleweeds and have lived among them. Just worried for you

I would like to assure you that even though these chandeliers may look simple, there is actually much more involved than just sculpting a tumbleweed and creating a light fixture. Making them safe for home use has been our number one priority. We do come from an area where tumbleweeds are present, and therefore we very much understand their nature. We have taken immense measures in making sure that these chandeliers are just as fire resistant as any other chandelier would be. To do this, we have created a special coating technique that make these fire resistant up to 2000 degrees.
