We liked their staff, and the displays of other kitchen designs they did. We had ideas on the kitchen designs that we wanted, Chris their architect presented our designs to us, plus others that he created. Chris, had a great kitchen design that we did not think of, very unique. Northwood Manufacturing should have the pictures I sent them, of the completed kitchen. The quality of their hardwood cabinets and the hardware supersedes the cabinets we purchased for our 1st house, plus their cabinet prices were less money. During installation, if there were any minor changes needed during the installation, they were very accommodating with working with us to make things right. A: The Countertops are actually solid surface. Specifically they are LG HiMacs - Mesa Granite. Both Sinks are Integrated White Solid Surface. **Q: Help -Knotty Pine Panel Pant Over** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am updating my bedroom and would love to do something with the knotty pine paneling and built ins that will transform the room. I decided to go with a light gray paint for the walls and am thinking some form of white for the paneling but would love ideas for specific colors. Here are pics of the paneling and wall color. To give a sense of the room vibe (sassy/chic)the furniture will be expresso and I am thinking about using Orange and perhaps a blue ( teal) to interject color -here is a pic of the accent chair I am thinking of using. Thanks! A: If you are going to paint it you will want to make sure it is properly prepared. Check with your local paint store. If you don't make certain the knots in the pine are sealed they will eventually bleed through the paint.
