As the owners and founders of Legacy Remodeling Team, it has been our great honor to serve the communities of northeast Ohio for over 25 years.

What started as a small, one-man operation in 1994 grew into an incorporated business in 1999, and we moved to Hudson in 2007. In September 2013, we opened the Legacy Remodeling Team Showroom on Route 91. In September 2022, we relocated to our current address at 5062 Akron-Cleveland Road in Peninsula. 

Our team has completed hundreds of kitchen and bathroom remodels in Hudson, Stow, Peninsula, Brecksville, Kent, and surrounding areas. As a family-owned, employee-staffed business, we maintain strict control over every project we undertake, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, service, and an unbeatable warranty.

> In December 2025, we hired Legacy Remodeling & Construction to remodel our bathroom, with the project scheduled to begin during the first week of March 2026. Initially, the process appeared to be moving forward as expected. However, after we paid the deposit, communication and progress began to decline.

> By February, we had not received renovation drawings, blueprints, or material samples, despite repeatedly requesting updates. March arrived, and no meaningful work had been completed. We still had no finalized plans or materials, and reaching the company became increasingly difficult.
>
> Our primary point of contact, owner Tony Nhenga, rarely responded to us directly. Most communication came through his office assistant, who appeared to be relaying information on his behalf.
>
> By mid-March, we requested the return of our $41,000 deposit because no work had begun and, in our view, the company had not fulfilled its contractual obligations. Legacy eventually agreed to issue a refund, but the repayment process involved several delays and explanations, including a cashier’s check that reportedly had been sent but never arrived and further issues involving the bank.
>
> After numerous calls and emails, we advised the company that we were prepared to involve an attorney. Tony then stated that he had obtained a personal line of credit to repay us, and we finally received our refund on July 1.
>
> Although we are relieved to have recovered our money, the overall experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Based on our experience, prospective customers should carefully review the contract, payment terms, project timeline, and refund provisions before doing business with this company.

> The designer at Legacy was awesome. She spent tons of time with me looking at materials and fixtures and gave me just the right of guidance and ideas. The team at my house was very small but very capable, clean and respectful. The bathroom took about 10 weeks and the staff did a great job with all aspects, especially the tile guy...WOW! So happy with my final product...feels and looks like a high-end spa.
