## Community Q&A

**Q: Please help me pull this Living room together.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am planing to get new furniture before the end of January but i am having trouble deciding on the fabric. I have picked out 2 chairs which I really like (see below); the sofa I am not attached to yet but I can't decide on the color.
So far I have chosen ivory for the chairs. Should I chose the same color for the sofa?
I have not chosen a rug, end tables, or coffee table as yet. All suggestions welcome. I have two golden retrievers charlie and jack am i crazy to chose ivory?
Once we finish the lower level we will spend most of our time downstairs so they won't be in the living room as much. Thanks for your help

**Q: Hope I have the right page to post my Before and After photos.** *(in Before & After)*

I was looking for a new look without breaking the bank. Most of the homes are built identically on the block so I needed mine to stand out. On the exterior these home don't have the best curb appeal so this was my goal. 
We replaced every window with double pane argon gas glass with a tint in it to keep the sun from blazing in. We get great afternoon sun.  Front windows are prairie style. ( Alside windows and siding ) We replaced the old aluminum siding ( which made our house cold looking and feeling ) with a thick gauge vinyl siding and vinyl shakes in front. I designed the cultured stone at the front and the return of the front enclosed porch areas. The stone ( Cambridge wall stones in Santa Fe) hug and frame the windows with a brownstone sill. The stoops have Cambridge paving stones in toffee\\onyx with brownstone edging. We added a ductless air/ heat unit which cools the first floor ( my unit). We already have wall ac units in the bedrooms.
