  - Description: This was a custom design and it is the personal home for one of the owners of Shivers Homes in Lafayette, LA. Interior Design was done by Chrissy Greene of Elle Interiors. The exterior has a French Colonial style with a West Indies flare. Interior spaces are refined and calm with rustic undertones. All spaces wrap around an interior courtyard which houses a refreshing pool.

  - Description: This was a design done for the annual Acadiana St. Jude Dream Home fundraiser for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. Every year a home is designed, built, and decorated with donations of time and material from local builders and desingers. The builder then sells tickets for a drawing in which the house is given away to a lucky winner. All proceeds go to St. Judes. This year's home is a modern farmhouse with some rustic and refined elements.

What are cabinet and wall colors?

A: Sorry... this project was completed a few years ago and I no longer have the color selections for it.  Thanks for your question.

**Q: where can I order this door in 28 inches wide?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This door was an antique door sourced in Europe by the interior designer.... so it is not available for order.  Sorry.

Do you have the name/manufacturer of the brick used?  Mortar color?  Thanks

A: That brick is not a manufactured brick... it's salvaged antique brick. The color/blend is "Old South Carolina". Sorry, I do not have any info on the mortar color... If I recall correctly, it was just straight mortar...no coloring. We did use an extra thick mortar joint on this home.

The doors about this house are interesting.  Whats the story?  Where are they from?

A: Thanks!  Yes these doors are amazing!  Our frequent collaborators, Boldiano Custom Homes and Interiors gets a few shipments of antique doors each year.  Most of the doors are sourced in Egypt.

Hi can you tell me about the ceiling materials for the patio roof please.

A: The patio roof is an arbor or trellis... not really a solid covering.  It is made with treated lumber that has been painted.

**Q: what kind of wood is on the island** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: HI Patty.  Well... this house was a fundraising project for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital in which several designers join together and design certain areas of the house.  I provided the overall design, with several interior designers decorating each space.  Unfortunately I don't have the specific material selections that the designer made in this space.  Sorry about that.
