I had some definite ideas/inspiration in terms of design but didn't know how to bring it all together. Sara was able to help me develop, refine and execute on a vision that was more than I could have imagined. Beyond that, she was a much-needed expert and voice-of-reason to steer me in new directions and talk me down when I needed it. I often had competing ideas, had a hard time making decisions, or would second-guess myself. Sara was always available and patient. We would walk through decisions together - - I really trusted her input and guidance, so we landed on decisions (quickly!) that I felt really confident in and could stick to. She also was a source of information and encouragement through a tricky construction process (even though she isn't affiliated with the contractors I used). Sara was originally recommended to us by the architect who drew the plans for a major renovation to our 1913 home which included a full kitchen rebuild, an addition with a family room, entryway and bathroom, and expanding our master bath and closet. During 2019 Sara designed the kitchen and master bath. While there were a lot of bumps in the road with our contractor, Sara remained a reliable partner during this project. She was especially thoughtful regarding our daughters who during the construction were six and four. Most recently, Sara designed a mudroom to maximize our small entryway which is connected to our family room. I have recommended Sara personally to friends/colleagues for the above reasons. The 3-d animated rendering that Sara produces is incredibly helpful in visualizing the project - and when I go back and look at the approach we chose, it's amazing how much the actual space resembles the video. It is a concave elongated hex tile similar to this: Verdon Collection with a very light gray grout.
