She listened to all of our random ideas/likes/dislikes/wants/needs, and refined them into a cohesive design that was within our budget.  Her creation of 3D renderings throughout the iterative design process was extremely beneficial to visualize the changes, as we were removing walls and making other structural changes.  Once we decided on a layout, Alex was very generous with her time and advice on colors, materials, hardware, etc.  She even met us at suppliers when selecting flooring and counter tops.
