It appeared to be well taken care of, however after some time it became clear that the original owner cut corners on several things and relied a little too much on their ''handyman neighbor'' to help them with some of the ''upgrades'' they made to the home. Some of these things I was simply able to take care of myself with the help of my friends who work in various trades (electrician and plumber), however there were several issues that came to light with all the rain we had during winter of 2016/2017 that were too much for me to handle. I had a difficult time trying to coordinate getting everything fixed (water leaking through roof, water leaking between the fascia and the gutter, water getting through stucco due to the moisture barrier being compromised, window and sliding door leaks, poorly built skylight tunnel), and I also had a hard time getting anyone to even call me back. Fortunately for me 1 of the people who did call me back was Chris Beck. Chris came out, looked at all the issues I was having, and designed a plan with his partner Pat Gomez to fix all the problems. The cleanup crew was very supportive and willing to go extra mile to make sure everything was all cleaned up. All work was completed within the schedule. He was friendly, informative, and took his time explaining the differences between the panels. Chris and his team at Craft Builders Construction were great to work with through the entire project and all the phases of installation. Chris was very patient in explaining how the system would work and what would be the best configuration for my install. His pricing was excellent and he used top quality products. Chris took care of all the permits and the paperwork with PG&E so we didn’t have to worry about dealing with that! The project was done on schedule and the install was very clean. We had to replace our old main electrical panel box and he did that. We highly recommend anyone looking into solar to give this local company a call.
