CoConstruct programme gave us the tools to see projected and actual costs, timeline, etc. Their selected team of tradespeople were very trustworthy. > We knew this was going to be a big project, with what started as a little leak in the kitchen, which turned into a fully gutted kitchen reno, then a main floor reno. Once the floors and walls were opened up, saw other underlying issues that needed to be addressed. > We wanted to do this right, so spent the money now, so wouldn't have to do it again. Owner is slow to respond and has been almost completely hands-off since signing the initial contract. There has been an endless string of issues with the house, both minor and not so minor. Repairs are clearly not a priority, involving multiple contacts, many delays, and repeated visits as they are often poorly done or incomplete.
