I knew very little about the ins and outs of landscaping, but Mahonry listened carefully to what my hopes and desires were for the area and made great suggestions. I really appreciated their prompt replies to any of my questions. They were completely professional throughout the whole experience and really went out of their way to meet our needs. What we really wanted was a courtyard-type area/patio that was an extension of the living area, but just outside. We wanted minimal upkeep, so Mahonry suggested a beautiful paver patio with some built-in seating. I also wanted just a small area for plants and flowers, so we have a nice bed next to the fence. I haven't planted the flowers yet, but I look forward to it and adding a few more pieces of nice, comfortable patio furniture and a gas fire stove. It's a lovely area for outdoor entertaining. We were working with two different companies simultaneously on our project which isn't always easy. We had already hired someone to complete our pergola and hired Chopper to put in a retaining wall and pavers for the pergola. Both companies knew what we wanted and worked with each other to get the project done, which made the job seamless for us. Mahonry's crew leveled the area, which was a huge weed patch so the other company could start the pergola. He suggested businesses close to us to look at pavers to give us a better idea of what we wanted. Once the pergola was done, Mahonry brought samples of the pavers that we were thinking about using, so we could see which went best with the pergola. We made our selection and within a few days the crew from Chopper completed our project. We appreciate the crews dedication to this project as it was extremely hot during the days that they were here. Mahonry always responded to our texts and calls. He and his crew were professional and easy to work with. The crew was respectful and kind. Our patio was poured when concrete was very difficult to get and it had to be sourced from a more expensive place but they never passed that on to us, kept the agreed upon price without canceling the project. A huge rain storm came in unexpectedly after the patio was setting and the team came back and secured a tarp enclosure to keep the finish protected. They cleaned up everything when finished and our patio is the best looking around as well as the best price I found.
