She has done several projects for us and really does top notch work. Her attention to detail and hard work are second to none. She tailored each project to what we envisioned and melded them with her professional perspective and insight. She worked well with our other vendors, and helped out with her own references and industry discounts as well. Whole heartedly recommend her! **★★★★★ — JOE BUCK, Dec. 2025** > Polly is my go-to designer for all my clients and all project scopes! As a real estate agent, it's important my sources and recs uphold my high standards.. and Polly is my most trusted in this department! Excellent skillset, great vision and design concepts... I've had raving positive feedback from all of my clients who she has done work for and its the best feeling knowing they will always be in great hands with her leading the way... highly highly recommend!! **★★★★★ — Aues, Dec. 2025** > The best designer. Smart, Professional and hard worker. Glad work with you! Can't wait to all new projects and beautiful design idea. **★★★★★ — Manny Olguin, Dec. 2025** > Polly is amazing! Not only is she a seasoned and award-winning designer, but she's got a great personality and is great to work with. She has a great sense of style, color, textures and space planning, that are both functionally and aesthetically attractive. Clients love her and it's always great to collaborate with her on projects as I know the end result will exceed the client's expectations. I look forward to the next project! **★★★★★ — ferguson, Dec. 2025** > I have worked with Polly for a few months now and the amount of care and detail she provides to her designs and clientele is incredible. She is extremely patient and really understands the desired, final experience. **★★★★★ — Nancy, Dec. 2025** > Polly really opened up the possibilities for our master bathroom remodel with her creative layout and consultation on all the aesthetics. Her detailed design plan was approved by the finicky City of Torrance's Planning Dept the first time wo/any modifications, a rare feat! The professional discount her referrals gave us more than paid for her great services. She's a pleasure to work with: hearing our needs/ideas, balancing those while watching our budget, and very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend her! **★★★★★ — Erin Scanlon, Nov. 2025** > We were referred to Polly by a Real Estate Agent friend of ours who highly recommended her work and now I know why! Polly is truly passionate about what she does. We wanted to remodel our living room and kitchen and did not know where to start. Being the consummate professional she listened to our vision, designed 3D models so we could see how it would look, and then drew up detailed, fool proof plans that we could deliver to our GC to execute. She then worked closely with our GC to make sure that our plan came to fruition, assisting with many micro decisions to lighten the heavy mental load that comes along with a major renovation. We are thrilled with the results and know it would not have happened without Polly! **★★★★★ — HU-534179356, Dec. 2024** > Polly is incredibly talented. Her designs are sophisticated, beautiful, like art. She does what she says she will and is efficient and fast . She also has a very good energy around her, she is very authentic, honest, and trustworthy, all that makes it a pleasure to work with her. I would not look for anyone else. **★★★★★ — Shaun Fowler, Dec. 2024** > Polly was awesome to work with. In 2022/23. We redesigned and remodeled our kitchen and living area. She provided three detailed options on layout at varying price points to help us decide. We ultimately chose an option that involved relocating the entire kitchen and removing 3 load bearing walls. She had great instinct for layout, design, cabinet arrangement, appliance suggestions, and materials. > > The construction itself was pretty heavy duty, but she was with us along the way to work with the contractors to ensure the design was implemented properly. We love the result (it's the "Three Tone Kitchen" album on Houzz). > > Last winter we chose to work with Polly again to redesign our master bath and had a similar experience. She's very professional, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor :-). You can tell she truly cares about the end result. > > If we are ever in the market again for a designer as part of a renovation project, we'd definitely want work with her again! **★★★★★ — Hope Nakamura & Glen Sato, Nov. 2024** > We were very fortunate to find Polly (South Bay Design Center) as a referral from our general contractor for a major remodel. She did a wonderful job in designing the interior, including cabinets, fixtures and lighting for our living room, kitchen and 4 baths. > > Polly has a great sense of style, in particular with a clean, modern look, which she brought to conversation in working through the materials, colors and tiling textures with us. She was timely and responsive and worked well with our contractors. Poly was able to function as a critical part of our team, adding not only style but also functionality ideas and input. > > We would highly recommend her, and would definitely use her again for any project. **★★★★★ — Ira, Dec. 2023** > I wanted to do my remodel for over 10 years , but I didn’t know how to start.. After I met Polly Nunes at south bay design center, she made me so comfortable, and her knowledge gave me confidence to move forward with my dream. I fell in love with her style, she listened to my ideas and made it happen!.
