Our rep Steve Santoro has always been extremely helpful, and always going that extra step to accommodate us, whether it was on pricing or on servicing our customers, Steve and Marble and Granite has always done a great job. Marble and Granite has a large and unique selection of stones, where I can send my customers to, and more often than not they always fall in love with one or more of their materials. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Dekton or Neolith as shower walls** *(in Bathrooms)*

I'm fed up with grout lines. So, how realistic is it to find someone who can actually install Dekton or Neolith shower panel walls?
And what shower pan material? There's a local fabricator here who claims they can cover fiberglass pans with Dekton or Neolith.

A: Check out this beautiful shower in Neolith! A perfect material for shower walls and floors!
This is Neolith Calacatta in 12mm thickness, a perfect choice for shower walls and floors and more as you can see here! contact marbleandgranite.com for more info!

**Q: What color paint did you use on the cabinets? Love it** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello Dinah. We will try to find out from the cabinet dealer. We provided the countertop material only.

**Q: Neolith Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this cement or Phedra?
Thanks.

A: Believe this one is Cement

**Q: Countertop** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is this material

A: The material is natural stone called Pietra del Cardosa

**Q: White Bins** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the white system set into the countertops?

A: Caesarstone comes in 3cm and 2cm thickness while Neolith comes in 5mm, 8mm and 1cm. The most commonly used thickness for kitchens is 3cm in our market. Neolith can be built up to that thickness but it increases the labor and the cost. If you are looking for a modern sleek look then the Neolith 1cm is a great option. Another difference is that Caesarstone slabs are 120" X 56" vs. Neolith 144" X 48". The 48" height limits the usage of counter widths (typically 25 1/2" ) per slabs causing excess waste. I hope this is helpful.

**Q: davidszucs19@icloud.com** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hey guys, I wonder what is the ceiling material you use for the steam room? It's looks to me very efficient for cleaning, and disinfecting. Can be use the same material for the other parts of the room also?

Thank you for your time,
Best regards,
David Szucs from Seattle, WA

A: Hi David, the material is called Neolith. Neolith is a large format, 144" X 50", thin porcelain. It comes in 3mm, 5mm, 8mm or 10mm. The product was going to be used for the entire steam room but this was a temporary re-model so they only chose to use it for the ceiling and the benches where people sit. Te intention is to use it all over the steam room as well as for the shower surrounds when the full remodel takes place. The characteristics of Neolith make it a great option for many surfaces including floors, walls, countertops etc... The material is non-porous, scratch and heat proof.
