Not only did she help me with the choice of the perfect fabric and design for my windows but finished it by recommending the most beautiful wrought iron hardware to compete the overall look. The project was done in a timely manner and to perfection. I was so pleased with Ms. Clark's work, she went on to reupholster my dining room chairs and is now working on choosing my dining room window treatment! **★★★★★ — Kari Edwards, July 2017** > Julie is a great worker and I love my window treatments and slip covers. She was knowledgeable about products and what would look best in my home. She very efficient and she got them done quickly. They look beautiful in my home and really made the room elegant. I would highly recommend her and will use her again **★★★★★ — Hearts 'n' Holly, Nov. 2016** > I had the pleasure of working with Julie Clark of The Threaded Nest on one of my remodeling projects in Cambria, California. The project entailed draperies which needed to be designed to get the greatest ocean view in a limited amount of space, yet provide light filtering protection from the harsh UV rays off the ocean and provide privacy as well. Additionally, I chose a large awning stripe that had to be addressed. Julie has a wealth of ideas and experience. She was able to take all the requirements I presented to her and create a beautiful finished product in a very timely manner. The draperies were perfect, all pleated to the dominant stripe and fitted into the designated space without infringing on the view. The client was thrilled with her beautiful window-coverings. I would highly recommend Julie Clark. Not only does she provide an outstanding professional service, but she is a pleasure to work with. **★★★★★ — J, April 2016** > I was very nervous about decorating our new home. It was a different style from what we had in the past. I wanted to incorporate things we loved with the new style Julie did a fabulous job helping me pick out fabrics and window treatment styles that I loved and still went with our new home. I've had so many wonderful compliments. It is definitely a happy house. **Comment from The Threaded Nest:** > Thank you so much for your Houzz review. > It has been such fun and such a joy working with you in making your house a home. **★★★★★ — strong4health, Aug. 2015** > The Threaded Nest helped me find the perfect woven blinds for my wall of windows! Julie Clark was so amazing and patient as I painstakingly chose from a large selection of her samples. She quickly ordered samples that were quickly delivered to my home so I could spend time coordinating paint colors and my furnishings to the blinds. We ultimately waited until after the great room was painted and completely changed the final product! She's an angel with great knowledge and advice as she gently guided me to the decisions that were perfect for my home. Thank you, Julie! > By the way, this is the second time we used The Threaded Nest's awesome services. She helped my husband and I cover windows in a rental condo. Her advice about everything from the window coverings to the paint color was spot on. She also has a wealth of referrals for any type of work you need done on your home. We will definitely contact The Threaded Nest for future home design projects. **★★★★ — pinotcat1, Aug. 2015** > The Threaded Nest is prompt in its delivery, offers suggestions for design (without being obtrusive) and has a great sense of fabric and design. I have used them on previous projects and have been delighted with the service. **★★★★★ — suzannelawson93, Aug. 2015** > Julie Clark is professional, creative, honest, and personable. She was punctual in returning texts and emails and always on time for appointments. She furnished creative ideas for my projects: fabric and wooden blind window treatments, window seat cushion covering and pillows of different designs. I didn't want to part with a favorite fabric for my bedroom, so she envisioned a totally new curtain from the fabric which beautifully updated the room. She had creative ideas for details to add to the projects as they went along. The items were finished in a timely manner and all were professionally crafted. I am an extremely pleased customer and would recommend Julie in a heartbeat! **★★★★★ — kbmannski, Nov. 2014** > I have worked with Julie for a couple of years. Her work is impeccable. Amazing attention to detail in her custom work. She stands by her work. ## Selected projects - [Natural Shades and draperies](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/natural-shades-and-draperies-pj-vj~7071795) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Bedroom suite](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bedroom-suite-pj-vj~426659) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 5 - [Cottage Charm](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/cottage-charm-pj-vj~7071125) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Custom cornice and motorized draperies.](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/custom-cornice-and-motorized-draperies-pj-vj~5926520) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Custom bedding and draperies](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/custom-bedding-and-draperies-pj-vj~5926525) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Custom draperies and accent pillows.](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/custom-draperies-and-accent-pillows-pj-vj~5926522) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Cordless Roman Shade](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/cordless-roman-shade-pj-vj~5926519) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Custom Norman Normandy wood shutters.](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/custom-norman-normandy-wood-shutters-pj-vj~5926517) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 3 - [New Look](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-look-pj-vj~2472899) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - Description: New draperies and upholstered sofa in the living room and new draperies, valances, seating and table runner in the dinette/ kitchen using Trend Fabrics. - [Man Cave](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/man-cave-pj-vj~2458478) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Veneered Tableaux Cornices and draperies](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/veneered-tableaux-cornices-and-draperies-pj-vj~1556672) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [New Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-home-pj-vj~985007) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 10 - [Great room window treatments and draperies](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/great-room-window-treatments-and-draperies-pj-vj~426662) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Dining room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/dining-room-pj-vj~426660) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 6 - [Living Room Slipcovers](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/living-room-slipcovers-pj-vj~426672) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Corner window cornices and bench cushions](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/corner-window-cornices-and-bench-cushions-pj-vj~426668) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Guest bedroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/guest-bedroom-pj-vj~426666) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 [See all 17 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/window-treatments/the-threaded-nest-pfvwus-pf~1543607609) ## Ideabooks - [Laundry Room](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/76481647/list/laundry-room) — 1 idea - [Cool Ideas](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/22219526/list/cool-ideas) — 2 ideas - [living Rooms](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/23042633/list/living-rooms) — 6 ideas - [The Threaded Nest's Ideas](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/45745953/list/the-threaded-nest-s-ideas) — 2 ideas [See all 4 ideabooks](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/users/threadednest) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
