> I have had endless problems with delivery and installation. They are very indifferent when I call them to try to resolve. I would never do business here again

**★ — Carol B, Jan. 2026**

> I ordered blinds from Blinds.com in August 2025 from designer Lisa. After talking with Lisa she sent me more samples that would be better fit for the blackout shades I needed. So I changed the fabric on the order and I had one of their measuring people do the calculations. By the time the order was to be placed the sale was ending but Lisa assured me she would extend the discount and the free installation. I ordered the blinds based on her estimates he sent me. After awhile I received an email from Blinds.com stating the blinds were on the way. The price on the order they sent was a different price than quoted by Lisa and I was charged the installation fee of $199.. I called customer service and they said they would have someone call me back, which they never did. The blinds arrived and the installer tried to hang them and 8 of the 10 blinds did not fit correctly, they were cheaply made and the blackout lining did not reach the ends of the blinds so the light came through . I called customer service and after months of going back and forth they gave me a credit for the 8 blinds that did not fit. The credit was not the correct amount and the customer service person handling the case was not pleasant and did not help in trying to remedy the situation. I have written several emails explaining why the credit was short and they will not return my money or answer my calls. This company is the biggest rip off. The prices change every day and they do not stand by their word of satisfaction. There are many blind companies to choose from I suggest not using Blinds.com.

**★ — Jacob, March 2025**

> My experience with blinds.com has been the WORST experience I have ever had with ANY retailer, EVER. The incompetence from design consultant to customer service agents, is unlike anything I have ever dealt with. I placed my initial order Dec 10th, 2024. When working with the design consultant, I reiterate that they blinds needed to be operable and was assured numerous time that they were. Upon receipt, they were inoperable. I had to call in and then work with a customer service rep to have them remade, but was informed that what I need is not offered in an operable blind and to solve this issue I would need to order side mount blinds to sit below them (only $1600 more). Reluctantly, I was left with no choice as these blinds need to retract for our newborns room and placed the order. The remake was submitted and a month later received...to my dismay, the measurements were wildly incorrect and left a 1in gap on each side of the remakes. I then had to call in and explain the situation AGAIN (which nobody could seem to understand) snd eventually had a 2nd remake placed. I received this remake on March 10th 2025 (3 months after the initial order) and it was (you guessed it) incorrect AGAIN. This time the blinds were not only the wrong measurements (some didn't even fit in the window frame) but the actual blinds were not cut straight and actually bend. I have been contacting blinds.com every day for 6 days now to speak with someone regarding my issue and not a single customer service rep has taken any accountability and have consistently been told a manager will reach out. ITS BEEN 6 DAYS.
>
> TLDR: terrible company, terrible customer service, zero urgency to resolve issue

**★★ — jj, May 2024**

> When the installation was done, the installer secretly discarded the light guard. A few days later, I discovered this and contacted Blinds.com to send new night guards. When the new night guards arrived, they didn't fit the window frame. I contacted Blinds.com again, and a protracted battle lasting months began. After countless phone calls and emails—it took 17 days for Blinds.com to respond, and I had to keep pushing for a reply. Customer service kept repeating the same phrase, like an AI. Finally, they refused a refund, claiming the products were based on measurements provided by Blinds.com, implying the initial measurements were incorrect.
> The installer realized the products couldn't be installed properly but didn't inform me and secretly discarded the product, hoping I wouldn't notice. The replacement products still didn't fit, and Blinds.com, not wanting to issue a refund, blamed the vendor and took no responsibility, despite they are the one who provided the measurement service. Their attitude was evasive and negative. Before the purchase and installation, their service was excellent and proactive, but afterward, it was completely different. Once they've taken your money, you're no longer valuable to them. This experience reveals the company's poor service mindset and overall values.
> Another issue was a control pole I ordered that wasn't shipped for several months. When I called, they finally told me it was out of stock and issued a refund. I wonder if I hadn't called, would they have just taken my money and ignored it?
> Additionally, one of the installed blinds wasn't stable. The installer didn't use the middle bracket, so the blinds fell after a few weeks. This was confirmed by a second installer. Scheduling a fix took a long time too. Even though the warranty covers a whole year, each appointment took forever to schedule.
> I don't know how much impact this review will have, but I personally will never purchase from Blinds.com again and won't recommend it to my friends.

**★ — Tyler Gassman, March 2024**

> 4 months of delays, every time they say it'll be on the last delay when we call and then it gets delayed by another month (4 times now).

> I had the best experience with Blinds.com from the ordering with Jaime that was excellent. He was so helpful and professional! The installer Bob and his son were awesome and they did an amazing job today! I'm so happy and love my blinds they look beautiful and made my living room look so much better! I highly recommend them and will use them again! Thank you!!

> I relied on customer service to match my shutters order to a prior order from a few years ago--they said they had the information in their system. The shutters I received did not match, and only then did I learn that the frame needed to match the prior order was not even made by the manufacturer anymore. Turns out I could get that frame from a different manufacturer that Blinds.com uses, but this was never discussed when customer service placed my order. Despite the error being on their end, the customer service rep I discussed the problem with talks to me like I'M the asshole because I didn't catch the error within 30 days and refuses to do anything to help. Now I'm stuck with shutters that don't match the others in my house. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

**★ — Nick Andrews, Dec. 2023**

> Absolute incompetence from this company, particularly with respect to the lack of communication between their customer service department and the cheap Chinese manufacturers they use to build out their Acadian shutters. I ordered Acadian shutters in July 2023, with an inside mount for a window opening height of 60 1/8". When the frame came, they had cut the left and right frame pieces to 60 1/2", which did not fit the window opening. In addition, the cheap MDF they use was already cracked where the dovetail key inserts are placed to connect the frame. I contacted customer service and they initially said that they would expedite an order for a replacement frame immediately. I sent photos of the incorrectly cut frame pieces, with measurements as well.
>
> Then things got weird. The manufacturer did not simply fill the replacement order as stated. Two months after customer service stated that the replacement order had been submitted, I received an email from the customer service representative, stating that the manufacturer required additional evidence of the mismeasurement before they would fill the replacement order. For two months I thought my replacement was being created, and it was not. I sent additional photos to corroborate the mismeasurement. Finally, they appeared to concede that they had erred and in late October, agreed to fill the replacement order.
>
> It is now December 16, and my replacement frame finally arrived (five months after I initially placed the order). And guess what? The new frame is still 60 1/2" in height and does not fit the window opening. I immediately contacted customer service and, despite nearly a dozen emails with photos discussing the incorrect measurements, the new customer service representative told me that they had nothing in the Blinds.com system noting that the frame was incorrectly cut in the first place.
>
> In sum, this company is incompetent and uses cheap (and also incompetent) Chinese manufacturers to build out these products. The left hand does not know what the right is doing, and you, as the customer, will be caught in the middle. My suggestion to you is to find another company to do business with. You've been warned.

**★ — Erika Jurado-Graham, Dec. 2023**

> The experience will be great up until the point you need help from customer service. It is honestly a joke! One of the shutters arrived broken and I have been trying to get someone to file a claim to get them replaced for over 10 days. I have sent 3 emails, called 4 times and they just shove me around with no resolution to my issue. They don't even bother to reply to their own emails! I got an email from the first customer service agent asking for photos, I sent them and he never even bothered to acknowledge or reply. I sent a follow up email, no reply. I called 10 days later and was told "Ben was at lunch" and to send the pictures again. I was given another email and it was returned as undeliverable. I called again and was told I would get an email and I could just reply to the email with the photos again, that email never arrived. How can this company be in business with this level of customer service? They may be less expensive than other options but their customer service is inexistent. I got tired and just decided to file a charge back with American Express.

**★ — Donna Barbisch, Dec. 2023**

> I purchased from Blinds.com in August 2022. I have 12 Bali blinds at a cost of over $4,000. Bali products are fine, but the blinds.com experience has been horrific! The blinds were finally shipped in October 2022. Blinds.com's process is to wait until you receive the product before you can even order the install. They don't have enough installers, so that took another 1 1/2 months. Finally in December, they were installed. The installer made a terrible mess, discarding all pieces and parts on the floor. When I complained, blinds.com told me I did not pay for him to clean up after himself! The installer also told me it was my job to program the blinds even though I purchased the gateway. Next, several of the blinds were frayed. It was the holiday season, so took me a month or so to report it. When I called, I was told by customer service to use a sharp pair of scissors and trim the blinds myself (remember...12 blinds at \> $4,000!). I was disgusted but busy. I gave up! Then one of the blinds quit working. I decided to call Bali directly for support. They were very supportive. When I told them about the frayed blinds, they were helpful and facilitated my discussion with blinds.com to have them replaced. But of course when they were replaced, I had to have them re-installed. Same goat rope! That took several months. The guy came (nice enough, but not very skilled). Again made a mess but I thought I was done. Now, a year after the initial install, another blind fell down! I called back :-(. Same goat rope. They did compensated me the install fee, but I am here with a \>$4,000 investment and an empty window! Contacted the "management team" to elevate the issue. (Revision, they responded after my second note: 2 days post issue), The rep reminded me that they already replaced several frayed blinds and that I was on the list for the installer to come back out to reinstall the shade. Her email comment "Is there something additional that still needs attention?" Then went on to say, I should "allow 1-2 business days for a response once an email" once they received it is received on our end." Obviously she is not high enough on the chain to correct any of the issues that caused my problems. Actually, she doesn't seem to grasp the problem at all. Bottom line, Blinds.com can't or won't address the measure and install issue and lack of appropriate service in my area. Given it's been a year and a half after ordering and the problems continue (which blind will fall next?), I do not recommend Blinds.com!

**★ — Carlene McGinty, Nov. 2023**

> I strongly recommend not purchasing from Blinds.com
> I ordered what I thought was Faux Wood blinds (the installation instructions state "How to install your
> Faux Wood blinds) and what I got was a thin Vinyl Blind.
> I tried to take advantage of their policy to credit toward a new blind and was not able
> to apply to sale price to the new blind. So the new blind using their return policy would have cost MORE for me than if I had
> started an entire new order
> I went to Home Depot and purchased exactly what I wanted - and they cut the blind to the needed width on site at no cost
> Our contractor hung the blinds in a day.

**★ — Ericb, Sept. 2023**

> Website is great. Ordered blinds for ten windows. Also ordered the installation service. Communication was awesome with the installation service. They came out and confirmed our measurements and order. We were surprised when our blinds arrived because there was no communication from the manufacturer. The installation service contacted us and we scheduled the install. The installer arrived on time and did a fantastic job.
>
> Here is where things went off the rails. There were no tilt rods included in the shipment for half the blinds. The installer said all I needed to do was contact blinds.com and have them send the tilt rods out. That was TWELVE weeks ago. I have contacted them three different times and they still have not sent out the correct rods for the five blinds. They did send out tilt rods with the WRONG ends, ones that did not fit our blinds. We are beyond frustrated with the lack of communication and the inability of this company to complete a job. We have not had use of half of the blinds installed for TWELVE weeks. At this point, I would recommend staying away from this company.
