SOMA started in 1999 with Clive & David creating pieces of furniture from David's garage.  It quickly became apparent that Clive & David had a unique chemistry for creating well designed fine furniture.  They started from scratch and have slowly built up their business; including other craftspeople within SOMA and a network of craftspeople throughout the lower mainland.  SOMA's strong foundation comes from providing excellence in design & manufacturing.

SOMA's shop is now almost 12,000 square feed and includes a design studio, fully enclosed finishing booth capable of high gloss finishes, individual work stations for all of SOMA's cabinet makers and large open areas inclusive of all the best woodworking equipment SOMA can buy.
