> We hired Brad Goodsell and his team to build a two-story 15-foot addition while also restoring an old wood house in Central Halifax. When I think of Brad and his team, only one word comes to mind: craft. These guys are committed to the art of building and meticulous in the best of ways without being overly fussy or too slow. They whip out laser levels, rather than banging it up. And they ask the right questions to help guide the decisions making process about where to invest in craft and high quality materials and where it makes sense to compromise. The team is highly capable of executing architectural details from the construction plans while making aesthetic and material decisions along the way that make most sense in consultation with the owners. Especially when it comes to renovations, it takes a special talent to integrate the new with the old. Time and time again, Brad's team was able to deliver creative solutions that fit modern form and function into the old world charm of a heritage house. That's takes talent. Examples from our project include the design and build of a five-cubby built-in for a new mudroom, extending the existing hip roof line to envelope the addition seamlessly and converting an old bedroom into a new office using existing trim and doors.

**Q: Where did you get the ironing board** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We could not find one I liked so I made one. This ironing board is solid wood, shop made and fitted with some modified swivel hardware.
