**★★★★★ — ellinbh2915, Oct. 2016**

> Having completed a long-awaited kitchen remodel, I am 100% satisfied with the workmanship, professionalism, efficiency, helpfulness, and overall quality of MRF Construction, Inc. The team is honest, hard-working and communicative and their experienced attention to old home remodels was especially appreciated.
> We've lived through 4 remodels over a span of 30+ years and this experience was by far the best and easiest.

**★★★★★ — mrbingley1983, July 2014**

> MRF did our master bathroom remodel this year and we were very happy with the process and outcome. Mike is very friendly and his staff is wonderful. We appreciated the time and effort that went into making sure that every was up to code and beautiful. We have worked with other contractors in the area for other house projects with not so perfect outcomes, so we were glad to work with people who took the time to listen to and answer our many questions along the way. I would recommend MRF to anyone looking for a superior quality remodel. We hope to work with them again on future projects. WE LOVE OUR BATHROOM.

**★★★★★ — Hyland Cabinetworks Inc., July 2014**

> We have worked as a subcontractor building custom cabinetry for MRF Construction since 2002. As an organization they are second to none. Their projects consistently run smoothly & organization is never overlooked. As individuals they are an amazing group of people. Every crew member at MRF Construction has an unbelievable amount of industry knowledge. From the most ultra-modern house to an historical restoration were no detail has been overlooked & you feel like you’ve traveled back in time, there is no limitation to the capabilities & experience of MRF Construction.

**★★★★ — angela68bates, June 2014**

> MRF has done a number of home remodeling jobs for us, as well as major retaining wall construction. Their work is always impeccable and top notch. Their guys are, for the most part, reliable. Mike Fast has been known to come by late in the evening when a home emergency arises -- he knows our house better than we do! They do charge top dollar for their work, but you are getting a very high quality service!

**★★★★★ — rwbates, June 2014**

> MRF Construction has completed numerous projects around our home. Of the two major projects one was a large deck extension and one was rebuilding a retaining wall which included having to brace up the swimming pool held by the retaining wall. MRF has also done several smaller projects including replacing windows and solving a water leakage problem.
>
> You can always count on Mike and his people to be there when promised; to do a superior job; to clean up after themselves and to guarantee their work.
>
> Mike is always there when you need him including coming over last week at 10:30 at night when we discovered the swimming pool was leaking.
>
> I recommend MRF Construction without hesitation!

**★★★★★ — Sloan Hunter, April 2014**

> I have had the pleasure to be associated with MRF Construction Inc. for over 10 years. You will find them professional, talented and serious about perfection!

  - Description: The owners of this stately 1905 craftsman home purchased this home to restore original character and charm after years of neglect by previous owners. A 1960s era remodel competed with the traditional style of the home, and created many dark and cramped spaces. - Description: This stately lumber baron home, built in 1890, was updated to match the historic nature of the home and to create a kitchen the homeowners could entertain in more easily. The kitchen’s previous update was in 1960, and the space was cut up leaving it feeling disjointed and small. Almost half the space in the kitchen was used as a large butler’s pantry, and was further confined by a poor layout. By removing the wall separating the pantry, we were able to make a much larger, more comfortable space.…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Love the tile!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you share the tile brand and style/color? Love it!

A: It is a manufacturer that has been discontinued. Thank you for the compliment though.

**Q: what kind of mahogany cabinets are those?** *(in Photo Questions)*

they are lovely!

A: Thanks for asking. I believe it is Phillipine. If you look by the fireplace there were existing bookcases that we matched. They were made by a local custom cabinet shop.

**Q: Beautiful bathroom! What is the brand, height & width of the mirrors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me the brand, height and width of the mirrors? THanks!

A: Thank you! They were Pottery Barn, but the simple bevel doesn't seem to be something they sell anymore. They do have some other ovals that have a metal edge.

**Q: Love the sink, where can I get it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Renovating a mid Century house in Buffalo, NY

A: Hello; Thanks for reaching out and hello NY. That is a custom made trough sink designed by us and fabricated by our countertop fabricator. A very good countertop fabricator could do this.

**Q: what size is this room?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking to add an mudroom/ laundry to my house

A: It's about 16 feet long and 6 feet wide.

**Q: what is the floor tile in the bathroom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Bathroom Floor –
Dal Tile Oct and Dot, “White with Grey Dot”. Hope that helps.
