In fact, my interest in Decorating and Design began as a child. I grew up in Miami and was exposed to many objects, textures and combinations from around the world through my grandparents, who began a store called Cost Plus (now known as World Market). From them I learned how to make a space truly special and unique. My fascination about how to put things together has been with me since then- allowing me to become very skilled at mixing patterns and colors to obtain the most unexpected results. For 11 years, I lived in the DC area and began decorating homes, which led me to where I am today. I decided to come back to Miami and now live and work in Coconut Grove. As a decorator, I am always busy designing and creating. I love meeting and talking to people and seeing what's new so I am always inspired. Most importantly, though- I love what I do and believe it shows in every project I complete. HAPPY SPACES = ALWAYS HAPPY PEOPLE, and that's why I founded MINT DECOR INC. ### Services Provided - Interior Design - Kitchen Design - Bathroom Design - Living Room Design - Space Planning - Furniture Selection - Kids Bedroom Design - Design Consultation - Playroom Design - Nursery Design - Laundry Room Design - Mudroom Design - Universal Design - 3D Rendering ### Areas Served - Miami - Miami Beach - Kendall - Doral - Coral Gables - Cutler Bay - Palmetto Bay - Coconut Grove - Pinecrest - Palmetto Estates - Key Biscayne - Sunset - South Miami - Miami Shores - North Bay Village - South Beach - Fisher Island ### Typical Job Cost $20,000 - 1 million ## Business Details | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Business Name | Mint Decor Inc. | | Address | 3471 Main Hwy. The attention to detail, vision and respect for budget is unparalleled. I strongly recommend Mint for anyone looking to transform their house or simply needing to update a kid's room. **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thank you so much, Jon. I loved working with you guys and am now happy to call you friends! I hope to work with you again on future projects! **★★★★ — Ed Gershon, Jan. 2021** > Daniella has a great eye for color and for patterns. I am more of a traditionalist so relocating to Miami from NY and DC meant that I had to give up that look. The response to the new bright colorful multi-patterned look has been positive. **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thank you Ed! I loved working with you guys. Can’t wait for the next one! **★★★★★ — Ashmeet Oberoi, March 2019** > It’s a pleasure to work with Daniela! Once she’s done, the room speaks for itself for the abundant love and labor she put into it. She understands and takes into consideration your design needs and then does her magic :). What I love about working with Daniela is that she pays attention to every little detail in the room, encourages you to think of the endless possibilities, and with her, what she shows you in the plan is what you get. We love every inch of our room that Daniela designed and it's now our most favorite place to hangout at home. **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thank you, Ashmeet. That is the best compliment I can ever receive. It was such a treat to design your room and spend time with you guys. I look forward to the next one! **★★★★★ — Georgeta Fondos, April 2018** > I had the privilege to work with Daniela Nuilla, Interior Decorator at the Mint Decor Miami. Daniela has redesigned the Charles Deering Small Room of the Miami Show House, in support of the Junior League Miami, at the Deering Estate. I was invited to paint stars and zodiac signs on the ceiling. I was very impressed with Daniela’s professionalism, dedication, and passion for design. She is creative, determined, and pays attention to the smallest detail. She will do everything to transform the space the way she has envisioned it. I highly recommend Daniela at Mint Décor Miami! **★★★★★ — Dolores Longo, Jan. 2018** > Daniela has done my three apartments in Miami. One in 2016 and 2 in 2017. It was a pleasure working with her and her team. They were very professional, prompt, worked always with my budget parameters and met every deadline. > The results are stunning and the work quality excellent. > The cost of the 2016 project was $36,000 and the 2017 $18,000 **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thank you so much, Dolores! It was so much fun creating these spaces for you and I look forward to continuing to work with you. Xoxo.. Daniela **★★★★★ — Cliff Farrington, Jan. 2018** > We loved working with Daniela and Cesar of Mint Décor! We received prompt, professional and warm interactions with them from the very first consultation. Most importantly, we LOVE our home which exceeded our expectations and imagination. We hope to work with them again in the near future. **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thank you for your kind words, Heather. We loved working with you guys also and can’t wait to tackle the next one with you! **★★★★★ — Gwen K., Aug. 2017** > I had always done my own decorating in the past mainly because I didn't have the confidence that anyone would be able to interpret my unique style. To say the least it was a bit nerve-racking hiring someone to execute decor that would represent my personality. After lengthy research I came upon Mint Decor. and instantly felt a connection to all of the completed projects. At that time I knew that Daniela and her company were the best fit. > Upon meeting Daniela, she was very keen on my ideas, aesthetic, and style. It was effortless in communicating my desired outcome as she is truly a professional at tapping into what my objectives were for the various spaces in my home. Daniela has an expansive palette off of which she works as her ideas and implementation of them far exceeded my expectations. > I am happy to say that upon completion of the project, my home has been transformed into a work of art, in addition to it being completely functional. Her team was very professional, neat and clean! There was so much attention to the smallest of details to the biggest. > I am ecstatic about the transformation Daniela has done and am looking forward to future projects with Mint Decor.!!! **★★★★★ — Lee Juvarkar, Aug. 2016** > Words can't describe how pleased I am with the results of my kitchen and bath remodeling. I have never remodeled anything before, so I was apprehensive about starting. It is a big investment and I have heard so many horror stories. From the first time I met Daniela, I knew I was in good hands. She took so much time in explaining the process, helping me with the design, picking the color schemes and ensuring everything was completed to my satisfaction. She helped with all the extra details, what paint to select, changing the light fixtures and even the drawer pulls. The final results far exceeded my expectations. I have many friends and family that are so amazed at how everything looks. I look forward to working with her again as I remodel and decorate other parts of my house. **Comment from Mint Decor Inc.:** > Thanks so much for your awesome review, Lee! I enjoyed working with you on this project and look forward to working with you again soon. > > Daniela **★★★★★ — luciana\_andrade16, Jan. 2016** > Daniela was amazing in helping us renovate our apartment while we were 2,000 miles away. She was able to grasp (very quickly) what my family wanted and gave us different options (all wonderful) for us to choose from, respecting our budget. She was very resourceful in finding the right professionals to execute the job and guided us through the paper work that needed to be completed. This was a 100% hassle free project for us. She took care of everything! We were very pleased with the results and recommend Daniela for her outstanding professionalism and excellent taste. **★★★★★ — janetajimenez, Aug. 2015** > My experience during my project has been beautiful, creative and fun. Daniela was able to capture my ideas fully, while demonstrating a great level of professionalism. She was able to create a space that was warm and inviting, but still eclectic and elegant all at the same time. **★★★★★ — longrange4u, Aug. 2015** > Daniela has that unique and exceptional eye that can coordinate multiple colors, ideas and themes into the identity of her customer. She would often have a vision for a room that I couldn't understand... to which she would reply "trust me"... I never once regretted that trust. > > Such a talented individual with such skill... will help you save money throughout your remodel or design, but you will look like you spared no expense! **★★★★★ — ca2va, Aug. 2015** > I fell in love with my home all over again after Mint Decor Inc. designed and decorated various spaces. Daniella has a special talent and is a true genius. Always professional and prompt the whole project took less than a month from start to finish. I appreciate that Mint Decor Inc was able to work with me on a fair budget and also get me unique one of a kind pieces. I have some very nice custom art work and furniture at a reasonable > price. After looking at various decorators I went with Mint Decor Inc for the unique style Daniella represents. You cannot put a price on waking up every morning to a home you absolutely love. Everyone who comes to my home for the first time raves about how beautiful everything is. It is the best compliment and makes me proud to show my home. ## Selected projects - [Neutral palette, Contemporary style!](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/neutral-palette-contemporary-style-pj-vj~6495944) - Location: Miami, FL - Photos: 31 - Description: This 4-story townhome was given a full makeover after being stuck in the 90s! We gave it a contemporary facelift, with a few Boho elements, natural fibers and textures. With its neutral palette, it feels warm and inviting. Benjamin Moore’s “Silver Satin” is the main wall color for the entire home, making it feel cohesive from one area to the next. The kitchen was opened up and remodeled completely and the owners could not be any happier with the result. A separate and semi-private desk area, bedroom area and hangout space (sofa). The bamboo room dividers were cost effective and singularly important in achieving functionality for all three areas within the room. The style is a bit of an Asian-inspired, Boho mix.
