In January 2013, Paul Rodrigues decided to start KAMP Construction, and he named the company after the members of his family.

> Kamp built a 2000sf in-law addition onto an existing 3600sf home. They perform much of the work with their own people and manage subs for contracted work. The project came out as good as we had hoped it would. Paul (owner) and Mark (onsite manager) make an excellent team. They listened to our requirements, made helpful suggestions and followed through to assure a quality product. The only thing I would fault them on was scheduling. The project took  6-7 weeks longer than expected. Some of that delay was caused because leads times on some items (cabinets, granite, etc.) were longer than expected and, had we known, we could have made our selections earlier in the process. (We were novices to construction projects and could have benefited from regular schedule reviews.)
