> I have been going back and forth about whether to publish this review, however after continued disappointment of our purchase it has evidently pushed the decision.

> We have recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Look Master Builder for the construction of our new home, and I must say that I am thoroughly disappointed with the entire process. What should have been an exciting experience for our family can only be described as discouraging. From start to finish, the communication, finishing quality, and customer service have been nothing short of dreadful.
>
> Communication was a major issue right from the beginning. It was clear once we had confirmed to purchase there was a big transition in the service received.  There was a lack of transparency regarding the timeline of the project, numerous delays and I often had to initiate contact to get even the simplest updates.
>
> A few examples of the communication offer through look are: Upon final walk through prior to possession there were many noted deficiencies and incomplete aspects.  After being assured these would be completed prior to possession these remain outstanding and incomplete with absolutely no communication or updates on timeline. As well, as we approached our possession date came another frustrating shortcoming, as we were informed 1.5 days prior to possession of our home, that they weren’t able to secure inspection and therefore would be pushing back possession.

> It's incredibly frustrating to invest such a significant amount of money into a project and not be kept informed about its progress. This lack of communication led to a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety throughout the construction process.

> The finishing of the house is equally disappointing. It's clear that corners were cut and attention to detail was minimal. Given the numerous delays the paint drips, forgotten completions, uneven surfaces, and visible flaws in the craftsmanship are incredibly disheartening. Again, still awaiting attention to the significant list of deficiencies.

> Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this entire ordeal has been the lack of customer service. Following my expressed concerns initially regarding noted possession delays, I am still awaiting a call from management…. It’s unfortunate as those we have worked with in Sales have been lovely and clear the issue with Look stems from their management.

> Overall, my experience with Look Master Builders has been incredibly inadequate. The combination of poor communication, deficient finishing, and terrible customer service has left me sincerely regretting my decision to purchase with them.  All I can recommend is if you are considering Look Master Builder, try any other builder.

Their entire team operates in a friendly and personable manner, which goes a long way in our industry. Their designer, Shilo, spends a ton of time selecting options from us, so their homes always reflect what is popular on the market—trendy and contemporary—yet at an affordable price.  And they really boost their customer’s experience by providing uniquely-crafted individual colour boards—called take-home boxes—which allows each client to take home a sample piece of every finish they selected.  This memento is an uncommon touch, yet a great way to commemorate the excitement of new home building.  Way to make a special moment even better Look Homes!
