> Redi-Construction helped with renovations in our apartment including tile work (entryway and powder room), paint (entire apartment), concrete finishing (two walls), design and installation of a bar, and last but not least, the primary reason for hiring John was installation of reclaimed wood beams throughout multiple rooms of the apartment. His confidence in what needed to be accomplished and how for this installation was paramount.

**Q: Please suggest for front entrance** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What can be option to look good for this entrance, specially for floor ?? Put stone over this can help ??

A: Also you can change your door to a wood frame door to match the bench on your patio.

**Q: Living room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

How should I arrange furniture in this living room

A: The fireplace is a good idea as a focal point, but if you are planning on having a T.V it will not be ideal.  You could place your sofa in front of the window wall with a chair to the right in front of the stairs facing the fire place.  The wall next to the fireplace you could have a chaise lounge.

**Q: Need help making space less open** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi. I need help making this space a little "less" open. When entering the home and standing in the entry hallway, the dining is to the left,  and a formal sitting to the right, with the living room straight ahead.  The issue is that there are no walls separating any of these rooms, and only pillars. While this looks very open, the sound travels everywhere and it's hard to entertain without conversations becoming quite loud as every room is open to the others. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

A: You could consider buildings walls and creating a foyer or a long hallway to section off the rooms on either side.  This would give your home time to transition from entering into dining and entertaining.

I need some ideas on what colors would go best with this cape cod. Pics of ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This room is turning out a bit more feminine than I want. I'm also having designer block now too. What can I do besides paint to make it more masculine? Does this room need an area rug? Should I go with a coffee table or oversized ottoman?

Think about adding a few track lights and darker colors to compliment the space. You can use this image for inspiration. This is an apartment renovation we took on in Soho, NYC for an artist. I hope this helps!
