Our experience with Royal Forge was so good that we went ahead and expanded the scope of work significantly. Royal Forge has superseded our expectations and has been able to execute every design to perfection.
> We started with a modern steel stair railing that I designed and on which we worked collaboratively in order to achieve a very fine and clean level of detail. It is extremely elegant, well proportioned and beautifully fabricated. John ‘s understanding of steel and it’s properties means that he can see how to accomplish designs, and improve subtle details, that others may not know how to approach. In this sense, he gets the best out of the material and fabricates the design to the function in a way that is both practical and artistic. Next, I worked with Royal Forge to incorporate the details and look of the stair railing for my other designs: two fireplaces, a visible structural support for the kitchen stone slab, bathroom vanity details, seating in the open closet, shelves in the living room, and an entrance console. Most of these pieces have required coordination with the millworker or the stone fabricator and certainly our contractor. Two times I worked with Johathan and his excellent assistant, Jeremiah, to develop a unique finish for the steel which they welcomed and executed. Each time the project was finished and installed on time and on budget.

Project was an outdoor railing for our garden and water feature stairs. Wanted the design to be rustic, curved and decorative to follow the contour of our flagstone steps and blend in with our landscaping.  Provided Jonathan with some ideas.  He then came over to take a look at the project site.  Said it could be done and we were on are way.  Came out again to make templates and more measurements.
