Typically you hire someone to do the job, they do it and then move on. In the case of Covering Windows, the experience was simply superb. The owner, Kass, knows the market, his products and profession extremely well. There was no pressure, just consultation and options. We are thrilled with the results of the project that included both blinds and shutters in three rooms in our house. Installation was quick and tidy. Kass is a man of highest integrity, extremely responsive throughout the process. For example, he called and said he would be onsite at 9:20 and arrived at 9:18. When was the last time you worked with someone who respected your schedule like this? First of all we did not like the quality of blinds(both faux wood and honeycomb) installed. Some of the faux wood blinds threads broke within an year. Some of the Honeycomb blinds installed by covering windows are not retracting well. Mr.Kass offered lifetime warranty on these blinds and never responded to several calls and messages. He finally showed up, took pictures and after 2 days texted that company is not willing to replace with no proper explanation or reason provided. We got them in the master bedroom and kids' room. The wood smells so good. We live in an old house with crooked walls, but Kass and team were able to make them look perfect. We haven't had any issues with them and just enjoy them every day- aesthetically as well as functionally. We have black out curtains in front of them because some light does get in, which was anticipated. The only reason I marked down was because it took over 2 months from when we signed time contract to when they were installed. I understand it takes a long time to make custom wooden blinds, but it still seemed like a long time to me. I would highly recommend this company for your window coverings.
