## About

### Houzz Badges

I specialize in over 100 styles of reclaimed wood floors, solid, engineered, 2"up to 12" widths & wider. Unique exotic woods & slab tables. Custom built cabinets made from reclaimed woods, base boards, flush mount registers, cold air returns, counter tops etc. If you think it we can build it for you.

Growing up in the wilderness of British Columbia's Nicola Valley, without electricity or running water, awakened my passion for nature. Establishing The Rediscovered Wood Floor Company in 2003 turned my childhood inspiration into a worldwide quest for unique reclaimed wood.

The Rediscovered Wood Floor Company is a family-run business that sells and installs a broad variety of floor coverings, but it is our extensive knowledge and sourcing of rare reclaimed wood that sets us apart. Unique finds include Hickory, Tropical Fir, Longleaf Heart Pine, White and Red Oak, Mahogany, Chinese Elm, Walnut, American Cherry, Pecan and Barn Board to name a few.

We prefer not to alter the look of the wood through stains or other mechanical means. Our floors and furniture are finished using natural products, such as Tung Oil, making them truly unique and beautiful additions to any home or office.

Our business was built on old-fashioned values, and we treat our customers like family. Our mission is – and will always be – to provide personable, professional and quality service with an attention to detail that is second to none.

> A local house builder recommended we visit The Rediscovered Wood Floor Company for the flooring of our new log home. There was an amazing selection of different woods available and with the knowledge and expertise at TRWFC, we chose a wood suitable to our home and lifestyle. We installed and finished the floor ourselves with their helpful instruction. The finish we used was tung oli, available at TRWFC and we couldn't be happier with the result. We would highly recommend The Rediscovered Wood Floor Company to anyone building or renovating their home.

> Kerry did a fantastic job on our flooring. The reclaimed wood is very unique and is admired by everyone that enters our home.

**★★★★★ — nicolalake, Feb. 2015**

> My husband Rob and I first met Kerry Bloom approximately 10 years ago, while planning the building of our cabin on Nicola Lake. Kerry worked tirelessly with us, with our architect and with our builder in determining what flooring and wood features would best suit our design and our lifestyle. Rob and I visited Kerry's showroom on numerous occasions during our project and were always very impressed with the products Kerry had chosen to show us. Kerry's love of natural wood and his remarkable ability to use wood to create personalized designs is astounding. Our project featured reclaimed wood floors, including stairs and hand railings. The result of Kerry's work is truly beyond our expectations.
> Rob and I recently purchased a town house in Port Moody which we completely gutted and renovated. We called on Kerry to supply and install our flooring, and once again we are pleased beyond our expectations. Working with Kerry is most enjoyable. He is professional, delivers on time and on budget and clearly loves his work. Both Rob and I recommend Kerry Bloom and The Rediscovered Wood Floor Company for your next flooring project. You will not be disappointed.
