> We worked on a 6-figure patio build with Third space - their construction work failed on so many different levels, resulting in a defected patio that was sloped improperly (3+ inches off) and needed a complete reconstruction. After attempting to correct their faulty work (and charging us thousands more to fix work that they did incorrectly) the patio was still sloped incorrectly- causing severe flooding at our home’s foundation and mold growth across the patio.

> After being ignored by Third space, we ended up hiring a completely new company (had multiple quotes from reputable companies - all saying the same thing, slope and grade was done completely incorrectly) to fix the damage - to complete a full releveling of the entire patio, and add in a proper drainage system that third space failed to do. We’ve spent thousands ($$$$$) of dollars and countless hours correcting this faulty work.

> The damage continues though because their electrician (another sub contractor) failed to seal the holes he drilled into our foundation for the electrical work, which caused a severe flood in our basement in which the fire department was called because water was pouring over the electrical panels. We reached out to third space to inform them of the flooding and water pooling (a mini patio pool we didn’t ask for), and they ignored us. Our home flooded and they ignored us…this is our experience. We called, we emailed, we texted, we sent photos of our flood and they ignored us. Is this acceptable? No.

> We have spent a significant chunk of money fixing their poor work and I hope no one else has to go through this. They will not do the right thing when it comes down to it from a human perspective (ignoring a customer after their home floods), and from a workmanship perspective, they hire sub contractors that are simply not experts in their craft. There is some standard of work that one would expect for a project like this, and to have that fall so far beneath that is disappointing to say the least.

> I decided to use Third Space Builders after driving by one of their job sites where they were constructing a house addition/deck.  I had a rear entry door off of my deck that was in very bad shape and needed replacement (no maintenance from previous owner). I knew that the job would likely involve some siding/flashing work, and probably some structural work as well.  From previous reviews, it seemed like Third Space was a quality company that could easily handle this job.

> I was pleased with the entire process.  Every person I spoke to, including Richard (owner), Dustin, and Brandon (project manager), was pleasant and courteous.  While it took a bit of time between quoting and project start, once the job was underway, Brandon worked efficiently.  I appreciated the fact that he kept the work area neat and organized, both inside and outside.  Communication was good during the door replacement, and Brandon even handled a couple of small requests (outside of project scope) without questions.  The finish work on the replaced door and frame is great (paint, threshold, trim – all great).

I think they typically handle larger (pricier) jobs than mine, but this was a good opportunity for me to see their work on a smaller scale. A: Beci, thank you for your question, this is a copper farmhouse sink that was purchased at Home Depot.

Wondering if this is engineered flooring or hardwood?  What is the brand and color?

A: Amy, thank you for your question. This type of flooring is engineered hickory and the brand is by Bruce Frontier and the color is Brush Tumbleweed. Hope this helps!

This kitchen features custom beaded inset cabinets in both the kitchen and family room. The finest wood components and hardware was used throughout. The paint color is Benjamin Moore Linen White. The cabinets feature adjustable rollout drawers in the pantry. This is great for flexibility in storage. The family room and bar pass through area have stained hard maple for countertops. The remainder of the kitchen is granite.  We custom fit the cabinetry around a farmhouse style sink. The drawers are solid maple with dovetail construction and feature solid maple tableware and utensil organizers on the interior. The drawers and door hinges feature soft close. Custom appliance panels were integrated into the design.
We really enjoyed working on this project. Enjoy!
