Launched in 2006, Design Your Life is the brainchild of Laura Simmons. Laura earned her bachelor of arts in interior design and worked in the design industry for 14 years before breaking free to follow her passion—organization. The Design Your Life team relies on Laura’s aesthetic sense and often works with interior designers. At the end of the day, each project is designed around what matters most—your life and lifestyle.

Perhaps you need a lot of help. Maybe it’s just a little. We use a philosophy of flexibility, offering three options to meet your needs, preferences and budget. You can choose which one works best for you.

Our areas of expertise include closets, moving (downsizing and packing), office organization to make your space more effective and efficient, kitchen organization, garage organization and holiday decorating.  Whether your problem area is at work or at home, we can help. We can simply clean out and purge, or we can redesign it altogether. Pull outs tend to bring the back of the shelf to the front so you can not only visually see what's there but also access it. For these bookcases, we put in pull out shelves and then laid the books down so that the binding on both the front and back rows could be read.
