BIO
After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design, Jennifer began working with home builders and developers creating spec and model homes with attention to details that supported the marketing and sale of new construction homes.  Her career evolved into the residential market with experience working for 7 years at one of the nations top design firms.  Armed with experience handling timelines, budgets, and careful attention to detail, she began J. Dimas Design.

Jennifer believes great communication is what makes a successful project.  She prides herself on listening to client’s requests, requirements, & hopes and translating that into successful design.  Every client prefers to work a bit differently and Jennifer strives to set a mutually agreed upon path administratively, financially, and aesthetically. She listens to her clients, is respectful of their taste and budget, and is great with communication. Hi - could you please tell me the finish of the faucets and cabinet hardware?  Thank you!

A: Yes!  The faucets are stainless steel and the cabinet hardware is satin nickel.

Hi, can you please tell me what color are the cabinets?  Thanks!

A: I'm afraid they were painted by the builder before my client moved in so I don't have the spec.  If I am able to find a paint match next time I'm there, I will follow up!

A: We used Sherwin Williams SW7036 Accessible Beige in Matte on the walls and the same color in Semi-Gloss on the trim.

A: I believe it was Sherwin Williams SW7042 Shoji White.  Hope that helps!

A: I do!  The backsplash is 4x8 Calacatta gold subway tiles.

**Q: Is this just too much? Or not enough Suggestions please.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Is this overkill? This is all in the same space. Dining room open to livingroom. I bought a jute area rug for under the dining room table. Is this working? I'm still not done, but I'd love honest feedback.

A: I think it is looking good! I'd suggest moving the area rug in the living room so that it's just at the front of the sofa (the chaise portion will be on the rug). If the chair is in turn right at the edge that's ok. This will help ground the whole space and make it more cohesive. You've done a nice job of including textures which gives a neutral palette some life. I agree with the other comments, you just need to layer in some artwork. I think the jute rug would be nice in the dining room. A colorful piece of art over the buffet and a great, mod light fixture over the table would fill the visual void in there as well. Hope that helps and glad you are having fun! :-)
