My wife and I bought a house from a couple who had been in it for 28 years. The house had a "finished basement" but no bathroom, which we absolutely needed for my 85 year old father who was going to reside in the walk-out basement. So I went on-line and emailed five contractors, drywall people, a plumber, and an HVAC person. I met with three people and discussed my hope for a completion date. The plumber agreed, the drywall person agreed, and the HVAC person was unavailable. The timelines for this appeared impossible to coordinate. At the end, all of the workers left, except Don, who said, "It looks like you're trying to be the GC for this project." I said, "I guess so..." which I am not really capable of doing. And then, Don said, "How would you like ONE PERSON to do all of this?" I said, "duh." And he said, "I can do all of it." To which I grabbed his hand and said - DONE. Then, the magic began - and Don did everything - and I mean everything! He was a miracle worker, he did the HVAC (which was extensive), the plumbing, the electrical, the dry wall - EVERYTHING - and he did it beautifully. He helped purchase the sink, the toilet, the vanity, the lighting, the shower - and the quality of the work was/is top rate. If you want a job done well, with kindness, ethically - Castle Pines is your go-to.
