**Q: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the choices y’all made! Materials and colors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me about stained wood(s) on exterior? Species and brand stain y’all use? Also, are windows painted or clad? If painted, what color? Thanks!!!

A: Howdy! Thank you so much! This home's windows were selected from Marvin, Integrity line. They are casements with simulated divided lites. They are an aluminum exterior, and vinyl/wood interior. We painted the interiors (preference not necessity), and the exterior is precolored at the factory. >> The stained woods you see are a range of reclaimed wood from the home we demolished here such as pine and douglas fir (old growth). We also utilized \#1 pine tongue and groove at the roof decking for exposed eaves, exposed rafter tails (yellow pine), and stained them. Large posts/beams are douglas fir. We stained everything with one color using an exterior stain. We would need to go look up that product for you... and for this project we wanted to accent all the different types of wood (especially the reclaimed) rather than match the colors exactly. This does well to help those observing closely to appreciate all the reclaimed wood!
